Bolton obviously didn't charge enough for their home games over the Christmas and New Year period!!
Seriously, I'm sick of these so called bigger clubs flouting everything and being allowed to do so by the spineless, gutless, footballing authorities.

Seriously, I'm sick of these so called bigger clubs flouting everything and being allowed to do so by the spineless, gutless, footballing authorities. Let's be honest, football is rotten almost to the core. I would say that we are one of the honourable exceptions, a club that is run properly. Thank you RW and BC. If you read into the reason why Wycombe have returned Bryn Morris, and the 3 others that they had on loan as well, you can understand what their long term plan was for the season -: - After promotion realise that they haven't got the funds to compete in L1
- Loan quality players from L1 or Championship clubs, while only paying part of their wages
- By Christmas achieve a comfortable mid-table position, leaving only a resonable number of points left to gain to guarentee staying in the division
- In the New Year return all of the loan players while admitting that you can't afford to keep any of them
Result- stay in L1.

'He also confirmed that Doidge would not leave for another club in January because Fifa rules do not allow a player to play for more than two in one season'
Err. Brad Walker has already played for both Crewe and Wrexham this season..

They should be made to pay Forest Green the agreed price. They won't get that asking price again what with his age and the league he's in. Then again any chairman who wants to do a deal with Bolton you could say gets what they deserve

Perhaps someone can come up with the relevant Fifa Rule on this one.

I never realised this rule exists. Typical Premier League!
If a player has already represented another team in a match in the FA Cup or the EFL Cup, they will not be able to represent their new club in that competition during the same season. This is known as being cup tied.
However, this rule does not apply to the FA Premier League, meaning a player can play for more than one club in that competition in the same season.

Ie a player can play for more than one club in a league football season. But cannot play for three.

I am obviously well aware that a player can play for 2 Clubs in League matches during a season (but not 3). But this rule states that everyone outside the Premier League will be Cup Tied for the FA Cup or EFL Cup if they go on to play for another Club in the same season. I never realised that in Cup competitions there is one rule for the Premier League sides and another for the rest of us.

Anyway, the jury is still out as to whether Walker is eligible to play for us!

Not sure whether Wrexham would count in that as they play in the National League From the Wrexham Fans Forum:- 'I don't believe the Fifa rule applies to Walker, as the Non League has no FIFA defined transfer window, so can't be recognised by FIFA or English FA? Yet we are because we're associated with the FAW who follow FIFA rules. I bet this is where the loop hole exists'. The reply to this comment was:- 'The National League is sanctioned by the FA on behalf of FIFA, so is recognised'.
