As predicted by many - has gone back to Chelsea. Think there’s certainly a very good player there in the making just possibly abit light weight for our midfield at the moment. Showed great technical ability and passing range when called upon.

If anything he was too good a player for the rough and tumble of L1. You need to set a team up with 2 holding/defensive midfield players to protect and do the dirty work to play a creative player like Colkett.
I'm sure that he will be loaned to a Championship club in the next month

That’s what I thought. Always think he would have done really well in a 3 for Askey alongside Grant and Norburn but we just had too much depth. I’m sure he’ll go out on loan to a larger club than us in Jan

Lets hope his lack of game time doesnt sour any future loans

I'll be surprised to see him play higher than this level in the near future.
This makes sense as it is the easiest way to make room in the squad for new players. As Sam Ricketts confirmed the other day some of the current players on season long loans will be leaving in January. I would expect Coleman, and possibly Emmanuel, to follow.

Think we all saw this coming but a bit of a shame it didn't work out....
Definitely a player in there and sure he will have a good career just unlucky at the other midfielders we signed more suited to league 1/our style.

Looked a good player.
I’d have liked to see him have a few more chances.

There must be a reason why despite regularly making the bench he’s rarely been used, with even Gillead coming on in central roles over him.

Poor Management? Would think he’s glad to be out of here in all honesty... It's our fault he couldn't get into our team? The managerial decisions this year with a few exception haven’t been great so who knows if they’ve chosen the strongest team each week... Askey seemed stubborn and refused to pick players even when in form (Okenabirhie springs to mind) and Ricketts is still unproved (1 win in 5) so no not ‘our’ fault but maybe not given the chance to prove himself by poor managers...Time will tell but I can’t see too much improvement coming anytime soon (now set for 10 game unbeaten run)

Agreed, but think that young Colkett could and will eventually play at a higher level. Unfortunately he played under Askey at a time when his team selection was poor, but also when a number of strangers were just starting to get to know each other. Now he will I’ll clear the decks I hope he does’nt resort to enticing Wrexham players to play for us. He must have some idea of where he wants to strengthen and who he wants in. Just hope the board back his judgement.

Set to join Ostersunds on a twelve-month loan deal. That’s Graham Potter’s old club isn’t it? Good luck to him.

Set to join Ostersunds on a twelve-month loan deal. That’s Graham Potter’s old club isn’t it? Good luck to him. Now managed by another young English coach, Ian Burchnall. They're currently 6th in the top flight. It's the most northerly club in that league - mean temperature below freezing for half the year. Hope he takes some gloves.

We should not have done our chances of future loans from Chelsea any harm then - they didn't think he was good enough to keep either.

Current weather is around -10. I think the little Cherub Charlie will be remaining UK based for as long as possible in mean time he will continually post about his 'keep grinding' work ethic and how talented he is.....
