Barrow 2, Orient 3! Miracles can happen!
But they haven't on this occasion.
Barrow 2, Orient 3. Fool time........the vultures are circling at the top of the league.
If my team were top, having played more games, with an inferior goal difference, I'd be afraid, I'd be very afraid.......

When you look at the top 10 in that league at the moment what immediately jumps out is apart from Orient, there are no other recently relegated football league clubs to be seen.
Hartlepool, Barnet, Dagenham and especially Chesterfield are all well out of contention. As Wrexham would certainly agree, this is a tough league to get out of.

Orient v Wrexham on Saturday 12.35 ko. Live on telly Massive day for both clubs Will pubs in Rochdale be showing it? If Leyton Orient win, then I'm reasonably confident they'll go on to win the League, as they then could afford to lose their game with Solihull Moors so long as they win their game in hand. If they draw, then I'm a little more concerned, as although Leyton Orient can still go top by winning their game in hand, they still have to go to Solihull Moors and play AFC Fylde, whereas Wrexham look to have a much easier run in, as they do not have to play any of the top 6. If they lose, then I guess we'll have to rely on Solihull Moors winning the League. But they are away to Salford on Sat, and still have to play Leyton Orient. Having said that, I think the key factor which may well foul up Leyton Orient's chances is their continued involvement in the F.A. Trophy. Their 2 legged semi final against Tinpot means that they've had to postpone their games against Bromley and Eastleigh and they will now have to play twice a week until the end of the season.

All I can say is, if wxm don't win league, they won't win play offs simple as. they'll be on a downer for cocking up not winning league.i will say, if they beat orient satday, then they will be odds on favorites to win it

I hope Wrexham make it back into the League. They have a similar history to us being mostly a third Tier club but enjoyed some good years in Tier 2 just as we did. After many years of stable ownership they were sold to questionable owners and that did for them. We also dropped out of the league but were lucky enough to make a quick return. Wrexham get very decent support and it will be good to see them back.

You really do have to take your chance when it comes along to get out of this league. Tranmere were very lucky to get a second shot at it last season after missing out the year before. Town thanks to Scott Howie got back up at the first time of asking but Aldershot really have struggled since we beat them in that play off final.

Evening farm hands.
Well well well? A 'Six Pointer Saturday' for both Shrewsbury and Wrexham! IF Shrowsbury come away from Spotland (AKA The Crown Oil Arena) with 3 points it'll give you some breathing space in the drop zone. IF Wrexham come away from Brisbane Rd with 3 points and, Wales, Grand Slam Champions elect, beat the Scots at rugger.....There's going to be a disturbance on the Ricter Scale around Offa's Dyke around about teatime. So get your earmuffs ready, keep out of unstable buildings, crouch under tables at the final whistle in Murrayfield etc...just in case. That would be nice. But, I'ld be happy with a draw at Orient.. They score goals. Something we've lacked for a few seasons now. But, our record this season, clean sheets, the unbeaten runs etc speak volumes. Despite being on National and Worldwide TV for a lunchtime game, I'm expecting close to a 1,000 to make the journey to Brisbane Rd. Some are starting early. The 05:56 Wrexham General . Just so they can get a prime spot at Wtherspoons after their train rolls in at Euston at 08:57.
I'll be happy with a draw.

A draw would suit Wrexham and make things difficult for Orient.

My defeat sympathies to Wrexham as they lose 1-0 to promotion rivals Leyton orient relinquishing their automatic promotion slot to the o's who also have a game in hand.
The spice will be in heavy demand this evening.

As a newt rawl, It was pretty ordinary. Don't know if Wrexham went there for a draw, but they hardly threatened at all. Just the Juan shot, and that was straight at the keeper. Not a good advert for the National League.

That 10 minutes extra time had me worried.
We now need Fylde to win at Boreham Wood and Solihull Moors at Salford.
If Solihull win, Wrexham are down to 3rd.

At least one result has gone for us today, whatever the result up at Rochdale. Will be glad to see Orient back in the FL next season hopefully.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. The bottle jobs from across the border have done it again. With games in hand and goal difference, they could be down to 5th if teams win their games in hand. Where is Mr Notorious? goo.gl/images/m7uQbW

I'm expecting close to a 1,000 to make the journey to Brisbane Rd. With many thousands more only wishing they were able to get the hell out of the fleapit that is Wrexham for a few precious hours.

Get in! Orient 1 Wrexham 0. Getttt flipin' innnn!! Rochdale 2-1 Shorsbururrry 2 can play that game sunshine. We're still second in the League. The relegation trapdoor is well and truly creaking for Shrewsbury. Well and truly. You've got one swine (no pun intended to the farm hands) of a run in to beat the drop. I predicted we'd take close to a 1,000 to London with a 6 am train journey.... You only took 525 to deep and darkest Lancashire? Absolute flipin s**t! We fight another day. You're stuck with Sam the snake for League Two. Bonjour!

Wrexham look nailed on to finish in the top 7, but look far from certain of finishing in the top 3.

Perhaps it's too much to ask of all the teams from 4th to 7th to win their games in hand? That could knock Wrexham down to a lowly 8th place!

And the team that's 8th, Gateshead, is too far back with 62 points from 38 games. But at least if Wrexham don't finish in the top 3 they'll have an extra play off game to foul up.
