Serious question... have stfcshrew and Foxie ever been seen together in the same room?

Because we already have a lot of transfer based threads, you’ve started threads on topics which are already being discussed elsewhere, have a little read around before starting your own subjects.

Why not? He ain't going anywhere unless enough money to buy a whole promotion chasing team is forthcoming.

He played so poorly at Wembley that maybe his thoughts were elsewhere.
I hope not.

Perhaps he'll run away with Jiminy Cricket to Portman Road Unlike PH, he has two years left on his contract, don't think Ipswich will want to open their wallet that much.

He played so poorly at Wembley that maybe his thoughts were elsewhere. I hope not. Rotherham did well to keep the ball away from him. Didn't let him impose himself on the game and weren't shy from out muscling him. That's always going to be his weakness but I still think we should be asking for 4-5 million as he has 2 years left. That's nothing to a promotion chasing championship team. Might be above the Ipswich managers budget mind.

The club has really moved forward in contract negotiation, it's not long since a bag of beans was enough to prise away our talented contracted players.

I wouldn't settle for less than 2 million. and a sell on clause.
2 years left, we are in the driving seat.

The perception given is we have to sell him I am afraid. I have just flown back from Portugal and was sat next to the Wigan FC Head of Adminstration who was returning from the EFL Conference. They had discussions with Brian and Roland and from what I have heard STFC related is a concern.

Bloke who knows the cousin that looks after the pens and paper clips at Wigan......Rugby Club!!! Sent you pm I think I've cracked this case, as I've been observing ambergambler also spreading patent untruths under the guise of being an "ITK" for quite some time. There's a little coven of three or four on here who it appears each take it in turns to dream up a fantastical story for the gullible masses. In order to give their work of fiction credibility they pass it amongst themselves, in an online version of "The Telephone Game" (or "Chinese Whispers" to those who indulge in hate speech). During the course of this attempt to legitimise the lie, the story naturally becomes more layered as the silly little boys rub their hands with glee. Eventually one of their number will place it in circulation with the air of one stating a fact and the more credulous Salopians take it at face value. Raging semis ensue from the coven. Case closed.

Excellent work Inspector. Many thanks. One of the guilty parties felt so on edge he nervously blurted out a denial despite not being named in my summary. I'll leave you to clear up this sorry mess and take the necessary miscreants in for interrogation.

I wonder if the Wigan employee expected his words to be repeated over social media? He probably thought that as a fan of the club, the person he told / who was listening would be unlikely to post this sort of stuff at a time when it certainly wouldn't help the club's cause. I mean, why would you?

I mean, why would you? The perception we have to sell Nolan at his most saleable, hardly earth shattering news, in the main our 2 hour conversation has remained private. My point is we are a selling club and I think Askey should be given some slack. I hope we can keep hold of Nolan, but I suspect Town will get the offer that cannot be refused, not necessarily from Wigan could be any club, and in the same breath would like.

I'll leave you to clear up this sorry mess and take the necessary miscreants in for interrogation. We have a full confession which is just being typed up. When all the admin is completed I will forward copies to you and the CPS. Another successful case for the Swan Constabulary, evening all.
