Rotherham were much better in all departments and deserved winners.

Beckles is absolutely knackered. Beckles has been outstanding since half time. Scratch that - just seen the highlights. Poor, poor game from Omar.

Omar is a hero and has been a revelation since December. However his usual languid style looked ponderous, clumsy and leaden-footed all match long.

Beckles had a terrible game, he was blowing out of his arse after 60 minutes.

Am surprised that Nolan seems to have escaped much criticism.
One of the poorest games I've seen him play. His passing was either poor or sideways, and he wasn't supporting the front players as much as usual. Indeed, there were times in the 2nd half that he was playing in front of the back 4.

Hpw come Rotherham seemed to exceed our fitness levels? We are noted for our fitness levels and have already had a ninety minute Wembley warm up this season.

We looked knackered by half time. Even when we equalised we couldn't raise our game. Lord knows what they've been doing in training the past two weeks. Rotherham were the best team by a country mile, so congratulations to them.
I'm not worried about people like me. I'm a weeble and will bounce back up again, but I did feel sorry for the kids.
Any road up, I've got a confession to make......I've broken the law. I smuggled three balloons into the game by hiding them in my underpants. Juan at the front and two at the back. I must be colour blind, because I could have sworn they were blue when I put them in, but when I pulled them out, the Juan at the front was yellow and the two at the back were brown. I haven't got much puff these days, so I asked the bloke next to me to blow them up. It was quite a colourful sight, because his face turned green for some reason.
I was racked with guilt for breaking the law, so when I left the ground, I walked up to a police officer and held my wrists out ready to be cuffed after balloongate. He said, "Shrewsbury supporter aren't you?". I said I was. "And how long have you been supporting Shrewsbury?", he asked. I said 50 years. He replied, "Off you go, you've suffered enough".

Where was Eisa, Thomas, Gnahoua and Hendrie today btw? - I thought sticking three defenders on the bench was strange.

His passing was either poor or sideways, and he wasn't supporting the front players as much as usual. Indeed, there were times in the 2nd half that he was playing in front of the back 4. He got deep in the second half by necessity because Beckles was shagged and couldn't run. Sadler was drawn out of position covering Beckles and so Nolan had to come back and help out. But agree his passing was often poor. It was quite strange that for large passages of the match wherever the ball dropped in the middle third of the pitch, none of our midfielders were ever anywhere near it. That includes Godfrey, especially first half, despite lots of people praising him. Considering how Hurst's side is often lauded for being so organised, we looked like we really lost our shape and were very ragged throughout.

I know it was the same for both sides but felt the heat may have been one factor in Towns performance at times.

First up, well done to Rotherham, they deserved it. They did a job on us that's for sure.
In the cold light of day that was a very disappointing performance from the Town. We lost to a much better organised fitter team who created more chances and were prepared to run at our defenders. For a team who prides itself on being fit we looked slow and ragged at times.
We just didn't compete in the key areas and a number of our key players went missing in what was our biggest game in decades. I just wish that we had been able to throw on some attacking threat from the likes of Eisa or Thomas, two tiring teams in that heat, it was crying out for some direct running at their defenders.
Some disappointing performances too from Nolan and Beckles in particular. Beckles looked out of his depth at times, which was sad to see given the strength of his performances this season.
On a positive, I thought our fans were excellent and really tried to get behind our team, just a shame that the team just didn't turn up.
Finally, I don't want to go to Wembley again!

Finally, I don't want to go to Wembley again! completely agree , my observation with nolan was he was having to track back and bailed beckles out a few times, Godfrey ran himself in the ground trying to stem the tide. Rotherham bossed the midfield and clearly saw beckles as the weak link, i dont wont anyone to think i dont rate beckles as i do, he has improved tremendously . as you say we looked dead on our feet after 70 minutes.
