you get to this stage it does not matter who it is if we are good enough ,we have to beat what team is in front of us.
we cant afford to give so many soft free kicks away as we know taylor can put them away.as others have posted we have struggled against the more physical teams , i would imaging they will look at the Lincoln game and think we look vulnerable to that approach. we must do against Rotherham something we failed to do against Lincoln , keep them in there half , use our pace to get behind defenders , be more clinical in front of goal and impose our style of play on them , the battle for midfield will be crucial in this.
let us hope because the players have recently been to Wembely this time ground they will be less nervous and hit the ground running.

I think on that showing last night I'd have preferred to have gone up against Scunny. Rotherham look a little more grizzled; a little more experienced and certainly the more physical side. It's going to be a very tough fixture down there. Still, what should give us some encouragement is the number of chances that Scunny were able to create.

If we turn up like we did in both the Charlton games we give ourselves a very good chance

For me it’s not the most important thing whether it’s Rotherham or Scunny we play, it’s much more important as to which Town team turns up on the day. If the usual team turn up I don’t see us having too many problems.

I thought the atmosphere at last night's game seemed strangely flat, especially in comparison to that of both legs of our tie.
I get the impression that this means more to us than it does to them, and I hope that's going to work in our favour.

It would be pretty boring if the three teams who got relegated went straight back up.

Rotherham can cope with power but not with pace. Quick, incisive breaks, move the ball fast and run and the defence and we'll get some joy. Bang it long to Morris because we're too scared of making mistakes and we'll be in trouble. If Morris hadn't played so well in the semis they'd be an argument that Payne might be better suited for this one. Would love to see Eisa on the big Wembley pitch against tired Rotherham legs too!

But if Rotherham do beat us it could bring a change too how many go up in future seasons, it will show just how much the championship teams have a unfair advantage over the others.

If we play like we did in both Charlton games we'll not disgrace ourselves. We're solid at the back and pretty adept at dealing with long balls and down the flanks wing play. The key is the midfield as it has been all season. Win that battle, and let Sadler and Nsiala mop everything up, and there's no reason why we need to be worried.
That all said, I would have preferred Scunny,as clearly many others do.

Or is it just that we are fortunate enough to have a group of idiots (and I include myself) who are prepared to travel all over the place, round up the troops and go that extra mile to support 'our' team?

I hope we can counter act the tactics of a big side lumping it in all the time this time. We always seem to struggle against sides like that and they totally outfought us at home and we had no answer to it.

It should be a good, exciting game with the third and fourth fighting it out. We can do this if we stay strong COYB

We mustn't lose sight of the fact that Rotherham should be even more worried about this game than us.
- We bossed them at their place. - They were all over us at ours but they only manged one goal. - By all accounts Scunny created a fair few chances over their two legs. - We have found the 'bite' in midfield again in these last two games that is exactly the key that had served us so well this season. - Nsiala, Sadler, Beckles and Bolton are a fabulous back four and have dealt with everything thrown at them in the last two games after a previous dodgy spell. Apart from the first 20 mins at The Valley we've not even looked like conceding a goal. - Henderson appears to have overcome his dodgy spell. - We finished third for a reason, a decent number of points better off than Rotherham. - Small gains I accept but we'll have had a full two weeks to recover rather than their week and a half. - We've been the team that fails to turn up at Wembley far too many times. Apart from the last 15 mins in 1996 and the first 15 mins against Rovers in 2007 we've been mediocre. Surely the law of averages says it's someone else's time not to turn up. - We have the experience from only last month of Wembley. This gives us a much better chance of not letting the occasion get the better of us. - We seem to have learned our lesson as fans from the poor atmosphere at the Lincoln game and made a real effort to co-ordinate a proper singing block. Rotherham will have plenty of day trippers so hopefully their support will suffer as a result.
Plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

Morris finding some form I'm confident we have every chance of winning that midfield battle. Only worry, as always,is our ability to finish off chances when they arise. Could lead to a nervy afternoon!
