If we are not going to go up automatically I'd rather it settled sooner rather than later. Teams that narrowly miss out on autos tend to go into the play offs on a downer which wont help. We've got a few weeks to get injuries cleared up and to plan for our play off date.

Apppaling decision by ref to change his mind. Once again the referee and his side kicks are absolutely useless.

If my memory serves me correctly, this is the same ref who gave a goal at Spotland last year when their player kicked it out of Jayson’s hands before then knocking it in from behind the keeper.
Inadequacy doesn’t even come close.

The ref had a better view of that than the linesman did. We were not very good in the second half but a draw would have been fair. Ref ruined it with his rank incompetence and whistle-happy performance.

Toto injury changed the game, we looked in control up til then, defence lost its shape and they grew in confidence. Nice overhead kick for their 2nd, penalty reversed was a strange one, lino got into position for the penalty kick, then linesman went over to speak to him, ref was in a better position to have seen it so not sure what linesman said to change the refs mind, definite contact in the box...we go again Monday, just hope Totos fracture allows him to play, we badly missed him today.

What the hell just happened there? Hurst not happy. Walked straight past the ref without shaking his hands. Unbelievable. yeh I noticed that, not happy about the penalty being reversed

so unless Wigan or Blackburn suddenly start losing some games , we will be in the play offs and we have time to get back to full strength .

No pressure now. We can stop worrying about top two and focus on getting some consistency for the playoffs which could well be Peterborough yet and I wouldn’t want to face them over 2 legs. Long way to go but injuries and suspensions are going to cost us. Too many square pegs in round holes today and we looked lacklustre. Personally I am not so confident in the playoffs, Plymouth look unstoppable and Charlton seem to be revitalised under Bowyer. I do however still see Blackburn losing 2 or 3 games so who knows.

I'd like Ogogo to write to all of us at Rochdale today and apologise for his sending off. He has cost us a chance of automatic promotion.

Chasing automatic promotion is tough but it was always going to be tough. Blackburn and Wigan still have to keep winning and it's not easy being out in front. There's plenty of twists and turns still to come and we'll be back to full strength soon enough.
Just remember that with money at their disposal Wigan and Blackburn should be ten points clear of third place by now...but they're not! They may both win every game between now and the end of the season, but it's unlikely and when that inevitable 'slip' happens, they best be careful not to let it get to them!
All we need to do is stay thereabouts and be ready to peak at the right time. The pressure is all on them now and it's great their fans are writing us off (once again).
This season has shown, we are not going away!

Yes. The ref was the same one we had last year! Amazing. Rochdale would like to have him every game I'm sure.
50 seconds in.

With a bit of luck Rochdale, Bury and Oldham will all go down. Manchester’s a s**thole.

Don't worry lads , to think where we are and how far we have progressed from last season is unbelievable . If Blackburn and Wigan can't get themselves promoted with their cash then something is seriously wrong. Even Mowbray can't f.ck it up and I don't rate him as a Manager . I think he will replaced at some point next season to be honest . We may be disappointed at the moment but , we still have a chance of automatic promotion, you just never know., and then there are the play offs ! Blackburn fans have been kicked from A******* to breakfast time having to watch the chicken munchers almost destroy their proud club and as we all know it's the fans that hurt the most. They are permanent , it's their club in the hands of some useless fools who really couldn't give a toss about the club or its proud history . If they go up automatically as looks likely good luck to them , their true fans deserve it after what they have had to endure . I am proud of my club no matter what - and the sasons not quite over yet! COYB

We win on Monday, whilst Blackburn either lose or draw against MKD and it's game on again!
And Rochdale winning today will put a little more urgency into MKD hopefully!

No doubt about it that Salop have done tremendously well , but i for one feared this was going to happen , call it bad luck , ill fortune , etc having to deal with suspensions, injury's , also having to deal with very bad decisions , and when the two other teams involved are laden with expensive players, Salop have now got to get everybody as fit as possible get back to winning ways, and maybe just maybe the gods will hand out another twist in fortune ,

yeh I noticed that, not happy about the penalty being reversed And the one he didn't give early The one where Morris got to the ball first and he had his hands wrapped round him for a good 20 seconds? He didn’t have a clue. I hope that moment gets included on the highlights.

Go and have a lie down in a darkened room and think about what you have just posted . If you are still of the same opinion you really shouldn't be watching professional football . Perhaps you would like to write to Abu and apologise for your unjust and unwelcome comment .

I don't agree about Mowbray. He has been absolutely outstanding for us, never deserved to be relegated, we as a club didn't with 51 points. But we didn't b***h or moan, we got on with it. Our club was in a real mess 15 months ago. Solely down to Mowbray (both on and off the pitch) we have turned that round. He has been one of our best managers in the past 40 years. I don't care what he did elsewhere, it's what he's done for us. Our debt will now also be massively reduced (thanks to promotion) and we are back where we belong. You should be proud. You have had a brilliant season. For the decent fans, I wish you well.

If the ref was as bad as others have described on here, it's no surprise that PH was absolutely fuming.
A whole season's work to achieve automatic promotion potentially ruined by 2 clowns, just like Linington and Wigglesworth did in the Wycombe game.
