Just for a change I sat in block 2 today as opposed to my normal block 14 or family stand.
The atmosphere today was great and block 18/19 were superb and sung their hearts out for the lads.
I can’t remember such noise before and concluded that the acoustics are different dependent on where you sit.
I think block 2 is the place to be folks

Also sat in block 2 today for a change and the noise coming from that corner reminded me of the good old days of a packed riverside. Was great to see other parts of the ground singing as well.
Doing the club proud as always. Real belief at the club at the moment.
Breathe on em

Hats off to the drummer/s. Really makes a difference and helps get us behind the team. Keep up the great work!!

What also made the difference was one particularly heroic supporter utilising one of the block signs as a makeshift snare drum. It sounded excellent from my vantage point.
Let's make the "Paul Hurst's Barmy Army (We Are Top Of The League)" chant the terrace soundtrack to our promotion bid.

Always a far better atmosphere when the fans concentrate on our team rather that their fans
And yes it was very good from the today

Brilliant banter today after the goal as a group of fans in Block 14 started singing "We are staying up"...

Success will always bring a better atmosphere.
I say to everyone out there, whether new, old, kids, pensioners or whatever that we should all savour this time because it's a golden period in supporting this club. Whatever the result is at the end of the season, this particular period needs to be treasured.
We've had enough sh*t over the last few years, but this appears to be turning a corner and eventually moving in the right direction.

Strange atmosphere today. Heard a shout out “oh **** off bolton”
Amazing when you think of bolton’s experience and age.
We’ve got lots to enjoy but we really have lots to learn too
Let’s enjoy our good times and encourage
Come on the blues. ( I miss that song/chant)

If our singers were at the back of the South stand the whole ground would hear it.

The question is whether drum and singers will be moving to terrace when installed? I hope at least some do

True, but would the sound be heard better by players all over the pitch from behind the goal? If the sound doesn't travel to other stands very well it stands to reason that neither does it reach the pitch as effectively either.

This is why I'm looking forward to seeing the block 19 singers relocate to the safe standing area as soon as it opens as you genuinely can't hear them in Block 14 for some reason, once relocated behind the goal the whole ground should be able to hear them.

Unless the club close 19 - like when we first moved - I can't see it happening, the majority of them like it there and it's completely their choice unless the club do the above. I go in 19 but am most likely going to move. If the atmosphere in the safe standing is s**te, though, I'll move back.

whoever said that about Bolton, needs there arse kicked straight out the stadium----- muppet Too bloody true. Young Bolton has done us ( and himself ) proud . First time in the Football League and he performs every week to a high level. Didnt think he had one of his best games yesterday to be honest but he never gives up and tries to link up with SW and Nolan . He did get a knock in the first half which could have been serious . Trying to clear the ball their lad tried to block it and caught him a bit late on the top of the foot . I love Bolton ,to me he epitomises why we are top of the League . If he keeps on improving in a few seasons we may do well to keep him. Im not at all surprised that people make stupid and unnecessary comments . I hear complete s**te from some every home game .What gets me most of all is that you can see Payne / Morris make run after run to close players down or chase balls played behind defenders . They are f.cked at times understandably ,it's impossible to keep that going at the same intensity over 90 minutes. Then you get some t**t complain about " they/ he " isn't putting the effort in or is a lazy player and so on. Our lads are very fit no doubt but there is a limit to what they can do , they are not bloody supermen . Trouble is I think some f.ckers have never played the game at any level. Still, rant over . Well done young Bolton ,COYB .

Worst I ever heard was someone laying into Ryan Woods, saying how overated he was as he doesn't do anything and should get forward more. Makes you wonder why some people go.

Fleetwood were very good at closing us down, giving us no time on the ball. That means making hurried decisions and giving the ball away more than usual. The downside of that tactic, is you can't keep it up for 90 minutes against a fit side like ours. You just have to be patient with the team, they're young and learning all the time. I didn't hear any barracking of players, just shouts of encouragement, but then I sit with the knowledgeable supporters of block 2.

Lucky not too get moved due to the demand from Fleetwood fans.

Because you can't hear it in block 14, but you can always hear the away fans a treat.
I've sat in family stand and South stand and you barely hear 19!

What we need is 2 drums and a trumpet in each block. That would create an atmosphere.
