Gutted if Junior is out for any length of time he's been immense this season and last really. I'm sure whoever comes in will give their all and be glad to be getting a game.
Omar Beckles is 6'3". My only worry is he can't jump as high as Brown.

What a shame for Junior Brown, who in my opinion is a real inspiration to all players & fans. Always gives 100% whether he's under pressure or not, never winges or shows dissent. I think he's a great example to all young players & we'll miss him.

Typical that we suffer what will probably be a serious injury in the only position on the pitch that we do not have proper cover.

Noticed yesterday that Fleetwood seemed to target Junior with kicks from their keeper. Don't know if they targeted him as he's the smallest in our back four, but if so their scouting seems to have missed the fact that Junior is probably our most consistent player aerially. Think they know all about him. He played for Fleetwood from 2010 to 2014

We're probably being a bit selfish here. When Junior finishes playing football he will still be a relatively young man. I believe he hopes to join the Fire Service. A serious injury might end that dream, so to be honest I'm more worried about him as a person at the moment.

Can Bolton play LB with Riley on the right?
Just wondering if there are any free agent LBs available as well.

I sometimes wonder if the LBs who opted not to join us in the summer are now wishing they had!!

Gutted to be losing him for what is probably weeks or months but disagree it is the one position we don't have cover. No one who is an out-and-out left back but we have more able players who can play there than if we lost Rodders or Whalley.

Although Riley has played left back a couple of times for us, Beckles would be my choice to replace Brown should he be out for a while.

Meanwhile, the left back Simpson didn't want and sent to Telford, James Meredith, has been recorded as having made the most tackles in the Championship this season. He was subsequently signed by York and Bradford City and is now with Millwall.

Riley played there against WBA and set up a goal so maybe something Hirst has already thought about. Alternatively we have Beckles who can play there.would think Christos will then be backup

I don't think he was let go for nothing. We had to pay up his contract. He's still in the Premier League.

Serious question. Do they go private or is poor old Junior stuck in the outpatients dept at RSH?

I would imagine there's an insurance policy to enable them to go private. However, if he has an appointment time, in my experience it won't make any difference. Have recently had to attend orthopaedics both for myself and with a friend and on both occasions left within 40 minutes, including x rays. Well impressed I can tell you.
