What a breath of fresh air he was today; an attacking central midfield player who can get stuck in as well. What a shame, in both his loan spells with us, he has picked up injuries... And now he can't play on Tuesday night against his parent club. Oh well, fit again, he may be vital for the last 4 games and I'd certainly be enquiring about his availability at the end of the season.

Ah that would explain why I thought Wellens was looking quicker today! It was actually Wallace that came on...

Wellens - what a lemon; do we scout or trial players before we sign them or just rely on their past history ?

Looks like a proper midfield player. Pity he can't play on Tuesday

Yeah the second half was a slight improvement but Bradford still overran us all over the pitch. Don't think Wallace did that much really but granted he did improve our midfield a little bit. Unfortunately as Sheffield United fans said, he's injured for 75% of the time & so I wouldn't even consider offering him a contract.

I would take a chance on both.

Yes, so would I, but only with a term in their 2 year contracts which allows us the option to pull the plug after 1 year if they haven't made a certain number of appearances.

Bottom of today's Star article mentions that Wallace is injured again, jarred his knee.

MM says he has rejoined training so should be in contention for this Saturday.

Cant blame the lad for being p**sed off at being subbed after only 15 minutes, even if it was to benefit the team.

I agree, especially as it was the managers mistake.
