Absolutely delighted to avoid the non-smiling lady today. Picked up my Man Utd and Blackpool tickets from a very helpful young lady, a rare pleasant transaction for me at the Meadow.

My wife has just been down to get tickets for me and my son as we can't due to work etc. She queued for about 15 minutes and said the lady that served her was very efficient and pleasant.
She then said to me "I don't know what you are all moaning about, didn't have a problem at all"

Details released, ignoring the typos in the press release and the somewhat confusing arrangement regarding online sales on some days only it seems to be along the same lines as last time.
It also doesn't favour exile supporters with only the telephone option from 2pm when on general sale day.

So, exiles with less than 5 loyalty points can't get tickets unless they drive to Shrewsbury to buy them, or am I being stupid? Good that, loving how town has embraced the benefits of modern online technology to the max. Surely things don't have to be this complicated do they? I have over 5, one of our group has less, so I could buy three, then the fourth would have to go to the club to buy a ticket to sit on his own.

I have 9 loyalty points, but should have 10 as I attended the Sheffield Wednesday game, purchasing my ticket using my supporter number. I sense a long phone call to the ticket office in the morning.

Don't bother they have said no points for Sheff Weds ... and that there shouldn't have been points for any cup games - club policy!! check out the "loyalty points" thread! Oh and to add to the farce people who have bought tickets already for Man Utd have said they have been awarded a point!!

Adds insult to injury that tickets I bought before the draw are worthless - yet some people got tickets after the draw, for the Southend game, and got double loyalty. p**s-take.

Only been twice this season so far, Bury where I didn't think to get the point added and Sheffield Wednesday, where I don't get any points. Looks like a trip to town on the Friday to try my luck in the queue with all the other part-timers.

Given the ridiculous length of time I've waited in the past to get through on the phone to the ticket office previously I wouldn't be surprised if there were none left by the time I get through, unless the office decides to actually man the phone line(s?) for once. I've rung almost continuously for hours (really, no exaggeration) in the past just to buy for standard league games. I feel a BT Sports night coming up.

One of my better days today.
I'd virtually given up with regard to being able to attend the Man Utd game, as for the last 28 days I have had to endure the misery of a catheter.
However, just in the nick of time, the Nuffield in Shrewsbury removed the damned thing and I was able to purchase my ticket from the non-smiling lady, who to be fair was very efficient.
