As for what we have to look at, we will be hosting the notes of ALL meetings going forward on the website and now have the ability to record these. Hopefully this can give people a good view of the issues discussed. We also have as much as we get from the past of the meetings, but there is a good history (still being updated). We also hope to host a diary of all fan groups events, and other key issues for town fans.
We now also have the the home to get fans views in addition to going through individual questions.... this is just the first stage to getting a better view of fans wants and needs off the football pitch. We propose to undertake the largest survey of town fans in the future asking questions about everything. We will be more active in getting out there and engaging town fans, building up a strong foundation to help and challenge the club to help us improve the experience for fans, and to be honest enough to reflect when things could be done better.
As it stand we have the support of all the major fan groups and all will be working together to the end of improving the lot of STFC fans where we can. On the pitch we cant effect things, but there are numerous projects we have already identified that we can proactively go out and address working along side the football club.
In terms of the future, some of you might have seen our statements of the last day or so regards the the potential for a memorial garden. A significant amount of work has already start on this in how this can be achieved. Currently we have an offer to the football club to step in and assist bring this forward as a project and hopefully we can proceed with this imminently. We have so many ideas for engaging fans into this important project.
After that, we already have our eye on the improvement of decoration of the concourse and stadium, a statue perhaps one day, as well as bring the issues that continue to frustrate fans to the football club to work towards solutions that benefit all parties if we can. We want to fight for the fans...
As you might have seen also we have moved to having meetings in a more neutral venue, the Prince of Wales. The next two meetings have already been set in stone, and as such this is a great time to get involved in the SP. We welcome all fans. If you have ever wanted to be part of something that is going to work hard for the fans with the support of all our existing fan groups, even if you have never been involved before this is a great time. If you are interested in being involved please contact us using the email above or come to our next meeting. Worst comes to worst you can come have a pint in the weeknight and chat to a few other town fans! There may even be sandwiches... am i over selling it!
Next Supporters Parliament Meetings
Meetings now to be held every month, one for fans only to work on current projects and the next month a meeting with the representatives of the club.
9th February 2016 - Prince of Wales - 7pm - Fans only meeting
15th March 2016 - Prince of Wales - 7pm - Invitation invited to club.
We hope once again to have a representative from the club there to speak with regards the issues going forward once every two months. An invitation will be made once our new CEO is in place hence waiting to March for our first potentially with him.
At the moment the the SP is taking forward by a team of volunteers. We will be putting names and faces up on the website soon, clearly i'm involved! So any questions i can address on B and A.
