We never look that good going forward, I'd even say we weren't last season. Get rid of Jackson, he's the problem. Over the years how many good goalscorers have we ruined? Starting with John Dungworth. Terrible performance yesterday, but also thought the support was pretty poor for a local'ish game.

Coventry City toilet watch: 7/10. The gents was clean enough, serpently didn't have a disgusting stench like Barnsley. I was going to give them an 8 until I went to wash my hands. No hot water, (naturally), there was liquid soap, and I managed to get Juan of the last of the paper towels, but where could I put it? No bin.
Perhaps I shouldn't be too harsh, maybe all houses in Coventry have washrooms like that.

what is the situation with luitweiler ? if anywhere near fit he needs to play it was like having glyn garner back in goal yesterday awful keeper What exactly did Halstead do wrong yesterday? He kept the score down singlehandedly with several good stops. Was arguably the only player that came away from yesterday's came with any credit. Agreed Leutwiler is a great keeper but I don't think you can point the finger of blame at Halstead for the shambolic performance at the Ricoh. Halstead stopped the scoreline from becoming embarrassing. However, questions should be asked of him for the first and third goals.

I've asked him which King of England was defeated by King Canute at the Battle of Assandun? That'll learn 'im.

Sadly I remember getting stuffed by Coventry at Highfield Road and the goalkeeper was a young lad called Len Beel and it may have been his debut as Alan Boswell had been injured the week before against Walsall...I seem to remember the score was 8-1 but either way it was a tonking..incidentally no subs in those days and in the Walsall game Boswell came back on, on the wing with his arm in a sling .unbelieveable but true! He did not last long Len Beel played 3 times for us and conceded 15 goals, a former team mate described him as "as big lad with a very stiff back".

how about for starters going back to rochdale there was no organisation of the defence and early on we looked like sunday leaguers rochdale managed 4 shots on target and scored 3 of them yesterday we looked dodgy at the back again but we were probably the better side until a shot from outside the box beat a keeper who went down in instalments no wonder the penalty taker thought he'd pop it back down low into the same corner for number 2 and as for the third goal i'm not sure what he was flapping at but it certainly wasn't the ball last 2 games 13 shots on target and concede 6 basically, he can't organise his defence and lets in every other shot thats whats wrong with him Don't forget his spillage of the ball in the Blackpool game. He got out of jail because of an offside flag, but had Blackpool scored then I doubt we'd have got the three points.

Your keeper was not that bad yesterday, he was beaten by 2 good strikes and a penalty. He stood up very well on 2 or 3 one on ones and was lucky he was not facing at least 3 more penalties in the first half and probably your MOTM although your number 7 wasn't too bad either.

People need to get over this Mickey Demetriou thing. Mellon has clearly stated that he isn't in his plans and has offered him to other clubs, he's not going to play for us again, Sadler, Brown and NKP are all ahead of MD in the chase for LB position so just get over it, Mellon has made his choice and although I agree Sadler has been poor, I thought MD was a weak link in our team all of last season, the love in for him needs to stop, it seems as though he's getting better and better in peoples eyes without even playing! Don't get me wrong. I'm sure demetriou is not going to get a game for the town again but suggesting we should "get over it" is b******s. I thought demetriou was a weak link last year myself but at least he had some pace. Sadler is out of the Nick Chadwick, cart horse, footballing school? As long as Sadler keeps playing every left back will look better in my eyes but why would the club, or anyone, listen to you? I will continue to trust in the managers judgement as opposed to yours.

Sadlers s**te, get rid. He's had his chance but enough is enough. I rarely get angry about players in this way. I think it illustrates how bad Sadler really was at the time of that post. Hurst has done brilliantly to transform him. Also big credit to Sadler for dragging himself up to the level he is at now, especially at such a late stage in his career. I will gladly take my slice of humble pie, what a defender he is.

Should Danny Coyne get some credit. We may have been shocking under his caretaker role but he did bring Sadler back into the team.
Your post was also almost a year to the day that Mellon left and Sadler got his chance

We are one game away from The Championship, absolute madness.
