Surprised to see the long queue at the ticket office again last night about 5 minutes before kick off. Have used the new ticketing system myself for my son and my cup tickets. It just seems so much easier to use and print off your ticket at home in advance but still as late as the day of the game

I was at the back of it, but left it late to get there so no complaints, and only missed the first five minutes. Still the angry woman shouted at me that she could not here me which seemed to annoy her....
Happy days

If I have to print out my own ticket, it would seem only right to invoice Ticketmaster a £2.80 admin charge. Fair's fair.

Is there ANYWAY to avoid the scandalous booking fee? If you turn up at the ticket office with cash, surely you don't have to pay? Not an option for exiles, but I would rather tha extra £2 for pay on the day at Barnsley go to them than Tickermaster.
MW needs to urgently reconsider Tixkermaster as I suspect it's yet another reason that is deterring fans from attending this season.

Totally agree, I wouldn't pay the extra £2 on principle as much as anything.

If you are able to go in person and pay cash there is no booking fee - that is what I do for away tickets and cup tickets

I always used to get my away tickets and cup tickets on a friday as I only work half a day on Fridays (if I work fridays), but now they go off sale on a Thursday it is a problem for me! if I have to pay the extra I would rather pay the away club on the day than Ticketmaster!

If you buy tickets for a concert or pretty well anything else on line or over the phone do you refuse to pay their fee?

On the subject of tickets just how much is a Coventry ticket I see it's 18 pounds on line plus booking fee and postage at the office 20 pounds so are the tickets 18 pound from Coventry and pay on day best result

What I don't understand is why Barnsley remove junior priced tickets on the day of the game?
If I travel and pay on the day for me and my young son total price would be £42!
Buying over the phone and having tickets for collection at Barnsley worked out at £30 for us both this afternoon.
Something not right.....over to Bellvue shrew

Something not right.....over to Bellvue shrew Barnsley like Shrewsbury use ticket master which always seems to go wrong and like Shrewsbury they would rather fans buy tickets in advance saving on office staff Locals here still prefer to pay cash on the gate with most turning up at 2 55 they even have half time gates at Barnsley some prefer to stay in pub till they know there winning As I said its just to stop ques

On the subject of tickets just how much is a Coventry ticket I see it's 18 pounds on line plus booking fee and postage at the office 20 pounds so are the tickets 18 pound from Coventry and pay on day best result Coventry have the dual pricing policy for home tickets. £18 online & £20 from ticket office/phone. Didn't see anything on their website to suggest a matchday price rise. Thankfully the Coventry tickets came out just in time so I could combine them with Southend ones next week and I also pooled resources and booked my mates tickets too thus only incurring one shared ticketsheister surcharge/tax. Bit of a catch22. Either get away tickets in advance and pay the tax & get loyalty points or paying on the day with possible price increase and no tax or points
