...the pace of Junior Brown ! Fair play, when it all opens up in front of him he really goes for it.

No, I'm very impressed by the pace of Junior Brown too.
All he has to do is run just as quickly but next time with the ball and he may be o.k .

Brown had a great game today showed great control and proof that he hasn't got 1 good foot by far his best game yet

Unlucky not to have us raving about his spectacular double today. Chipping in with a few worldies from wing back this season would be a very welcome bonus.

Suits him better as a wing back, does nip in with a few tackles but still would prefer Mickey D on the pitch.

Have been critical of Junior Brown but thought he had a very good game today and could so easily have two worldie goals to his name this evening.
Hope he can continue.

Wasn't bad at all yesterday but clearly isn't the player fans want him to be, ie attacking full back/wing back/winger who goes forward and takes players on.

Certainly in the 1st half yesterday he was a threat for the first time in a Shrewsbury shirt. More of that and he might change my opinion of him.

Still feel that Whalley should have been brought on yesterday bearing in mind his impact on the Oldham game.

Would you want a attacking player at wing back? it's not really the ideal choice to have but he did ok. Certainly the best player on the pitch Saturday although up until his 2 shots i thought was poor and looked knackered and could hardly run. Rather look for other options as i think he will have more bad games than good. Might be better using him as a sub to get the best out of him but not in that role.

I presume Jamo's comment is an allusion to a phase of play in the first half where Brown had the chance to carry the ball deep into Burton territory but opted to check back and play a short sideways ball on the half way line?
He's come in for a bit of stick, but I don't think he was too bad on Saturday, you had to feel for him when having already hit the bar, a second, rather brilliant effort, also came back off the woodwork.
They would both have been up there as goal of the season contenders.
