Good for him, I hope it's a success. Nice to see a successful footballer investing positively in his community. It's a shame so many trust their money to "advisers" to put into dubious investments or open blingy business ventures to show off to their mates.

To help with Daves research and save him going to Telford or Oswestry to visit play barnes try, Fuzzy Kids Bicton, The Two Henrys, Wyval Garden Centre plus one on Lancaster Road ....
Good luck to him though
(How about opening a DIY store on teh West side of town)

I know plenty of people who say Shrewsbury needs something like this as they regularly take their kids to Jungleland in Telford

Only two tiny ones left in Shrewsbury, Percy throwers and the two Henry's.
We regularly go to crazy knights.
5000 square feet is not that big though. Look up magic land in cirencester. 13000 square feet of epic child's play.
There is definitely the market for this in Shrewsbury. Good luck to him.

The Grapes closed for referbishment now open but can't confirm the play barn, tis still there if you google it but that doesn't mean anything Anyway find a local stream and build a dam, Climb up some trees and make a rope swing, play football in the street, much more fun and freeeeeeee

All the best to him and co-owner and more than happy for him to re-invest his money in the town and for the good and benefit of the kids. A few places like this come and go over the years but hopefully with a lot of research, preparation and investment this facility will stay the course.
A lovely family and wish him all the best.
