Woke up from your afternoon nap and had your read of people's friend have we? Hope you haven't split crumbs from your highland shortbread on your tartan nap blanket. Nope, but I did manage to spill tea down the front of me trousers Thank God the nice young blonde carer was able to sort me out . Happy Days

Very generously gave myself a couple of hours off this afternoon, (without pay), collected 3 season tickets, no problem. Went into the club shop to buy a shirt. Sib was there, her usual efficient self, also a young feller, don't know his name, but very helpful, asking if he could assist me. I didn't want Juan anyway, but it looks as if the long sleeves have sold out.
The shop was pretty busy, so it wouldn't surprise me if we break the record for shirt sales.
The loggerheads badges at the stadium are superb, by the way, for those that haven't seen them.

Don't know where to put this but was severely peeved at the service at the ticket office at the stadium.
So rude, ignorant and unhelpful was the lady behind the desk that I almost went 'forget it' and walked away
Any other customer service role she would be sacked, unfortunately football is a business so as a person who is selling a part of this business she should be atleast helpful !!
Challenging my in date student card (it has got a few months left on it) and at first refusing to sell me a student ticket because it's close to expiry for a single ticket to the game on Saturday. Considering the encroachment of online tickets affecting their jobs you would expect them to be showing why it's nicer to go and talk to the people at the stadium!

I would imagine this is the "non smiling lady" . She has tutted at me on several occasions whilst doing me the huge favour of selling me season tickets and single match tickets. On the other hand the chap from Blackpool (Greg i think) is always extremely polite, courteous and efficient.

Was she just following guidelines though?

Maybe she was following guidelines but i've never been challenged before on it, considering the ease of getting tickets away from salop they do make it awfully long and complicated considering when I got there I gave my supporters number, seat that I wanted (which was free, as it always is) and the money for the student ticket with card only for her to challenge every thing and as Czarcasm said tut about everything I asked of her

If I want a woman to be abrupt, challenge everything I say and constantly tut tut me, I don't have to leave the house.

I find the flat £4 p&p charge irrespective of the item a bit much. As an exiled fan I went to buy the promotion DVD online and it was £19 all in. Got it on Amazon for £15 in the end. I know Amazon is evil and the club get less profit etc etc. To be fair they may find it is safer and cheaper on the long run to use more expensive postal services but it is quite a lot more in a world where p&p is often free.
