Only in football would someone prefer Walsall to Shrewsbury, I was hoping he would leave them this summer and then I'll start to like him again

Absolutely no comment from me,I can see what that devious brother of yours and your good self are up to. Trying to get me involved in a liable case with the lunatic Bradshaw family. But I have heard on the grapevine that the reason behind the new deal is that a high up female member of the clan is very friendly with the chairman! Anyway must go as our Nigel is about to address his followers on the box.

lucky old Walsall, his departure last august may prove to be MM's biggest mistake in not offering the lad a sensible 2 year contract. definitely Town's loss IMO. ok let the brickbats flow. ps AJ now back at Wilts home, offline but relying on wilts libraries.

In the same way Taylor and Goldson lacked ambition when they signed contracts, or the way we hope Ginnelly lacks ambition?! Personally I think its nice to see some loyalty and a player savvy enough to know he needs a injury free season in L1 to get an offer that will really set him up.

He is highly unlikely to go through a season injury free. His "ballet dancer's" hamstrings will need constant supervision and are probably the reason he will not get the chance to perform on a bigger stage. The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden seems unlikely.

I wish him well but would prefer him to find a different employer.

It would appear his current employer shows him more loyalty than his previous employers

Don't get the 'hype' with him.
Never rated him in a Town shirt and prefer our number 9 thanks.

May be but he had a good season for them just gone in league 1 and now has the security of a further 2 year contract. He grew up in my home town so naturally I'm pleased of the progress he has made so far in his career.

GT obviously saw something in him because I couldn't believe when he was offered another one year contract with us in the close season of 2013 despite having not scored a first team goal since October 2011 at the time, so I think the club has displayed plenty of loyalty to Tom but to be fair to him he has also done so in return when he effectively ended his Wales U21 career so he could continue to play for us. He had a exceptionally good season at Walsall last season so it'll be interesting to see how he does next season but I won't be clapping him purely because of who he plays for... I can't stand that club!

A player who scored as many as he did last season even though he missed a chunk of it with injury shows that whoever thought 'there is a player in there ' was right
Other end of the spectrum, many said Scholes would never make it as hr was to small....
Persevere and rewards are reaped.
Granted we did persevere, but still lol
