I have still not had a date for the next meeting, but at the moment I know its going to soon.
However much like before I wanted to put a thread up for any questions and comments to the club that B and A want to bring forward. Having attended all the meetings for about the last 8 years, if a question can be answered already I will do so If I can.
What are the fans next "big issues" after we have sorted the badge and the kit? If there was one next big goal to rally behind... what would it be?
I think we will once again have questions on match day experience... Also new caterers opens up lots of questions. Thoughts on ticket intensives for next year? Ways to fill the ground? How is the stadium decoration plans going? Any thoughts are welcome and will try and bring them forward to the club.
Cheers
Pricey

Wont go down well BUT The Ledgends card.... It was agreed by the club (at an early SP meeting prior to Matts arrival but after consultation with teh club) that 80% of the monies collected would go towards the decorations. So far 3 banners have been put up yet based on the seriel numbers of cards sold well over £4000 must have been raised...
How much was raised? How many more are scheduled to be errected? Why's it taking so long to get more up? Whens the 'Roll of Honour' going to be put up? Why arn't Ledgends Cards being advertised any more?
Last season the club only managed to sell 3 / 4 crowd facing advertisment boards facing the West Stand. What steps are being taken to sell more?
Has the club considered advertising space along the front edge of the stand roof's ( similar the the Salop Leisure Stand sign) Would be a great revenue earner and improve the appearance of the ground....

Could more be made of the Supporters' Awards Evening. It seemed very low key this season. Although Matt Williams was great and a credit to the season, it would have been good to see more players and MM, together with a report of the awards on the official site.
Does the date need changing? There were a lot of the real die hards there probably more than at the official do.

The Coracle should be a prominent display item in a small Heritage Centre in a visitor centre. do hope this is not another battle we going to have with the Club. Surely Roland and the Board recognise the Coracle as part of the Club's Heritage and History, we have rid ourselves of that ruddy awful badge, do hope AJ and others will not have another battle on our hands, er Roland.
can the future of the coracle be on the agenda, and an up date on greater use of the stadium and grounds.

I would like to raise the question of fencing off seats (300 or so for the Plymouth game)? What is the point in having seats there if nobody is allowed to use them? If it's a question of security, then that needs to be sorted out. Cattle grids like at Wembley are the solution, a local company could make these for a small price (probably not even the cost of those 300 seats for the Plymouth game). They will last years!
Seat 112 gives a good view of them. Good low cost crowd control!

We do have this half arsed website on the legends cards. The page seems to have the same level of care as the scheme itself. www.shrewsburytown.com/commercial/TheLegendsCardNew.aspx

As has been mentioned on the concourse decoration thread, the outside of the ground is looking very run down. Are the club looking to clean up?

Is it too late to right a wrong and give Colin Griffin, who played over 500 times for Town in all competitions, a testimonial?

Are the club going to continue with the smoking area (which was a great idea and has improved my match day experience being able to chat to friends i don't sit with whilst having a fag)? will it be extended to other stands?

Are the club doing anything to improve the waiting time to get through to the ticket office via phone?

What a top question mon.. know there is a lot of ill feeling with Colin over his sacking and lack of testimonial in the late 80s .. would be a great gesture to award one of Salops finest servants a benefit game ... Alot of wounds need healing tho .. but be brilliant if something could be arranged...

Would love to attend one of these meetings but not able to as an "exile"!
Could someone please query on my behalf why the club-shop charge £4.99 P&P on all postal orders? I would like to buy a new replica shirt, but the additional 12.5% charge seems rather excessive on an item which is already not inexpensive, and actually not that large to post. With small, lower-value items like hats and scarves, it's absolutely ridiculous!
Thanks in advance.
