As it is between us and Burton for the title on the last day, does any one know if the league have a duplicate trophy and will they take 1 to both games or do they just have the one and will they have to take it to Cambridge?
Would be a shame after a great climax to the season if we were to win the title but not have a presentation after the game!

I know MK Dons were furious that in their opinion Swindon fielded a weakened team at Preston. For all we know, Cambridge might throw in a few of the youth team to see how they perform against Burton. I sincerely hope not though!

maybe I'm wrong but many teams appear to perform slightly better playing at home on the last day of the season, more so teams who have had a mediocre season and seemingly nothing to play for stage a game to remember
town themselves have done so before now when having nothing to play for, more worrying is we often slip up ourselves when we need points
towns final home games since 79
80 5-2 v fulham 81 3-3 qpr 84 3-0 v derby 85 0-2 v boro 86 2-1 v boro 88 2-1 plymouth 89 3-3 v leeds 90 2-0 preston 91 3-1 b'mouth 92 1-3 wba (player problems) 93 2-3 n'hptn (we needed to win) 94 0-0 wigan (already champs) 98 0-2 scunny 01 3-0 brighton 02 0-2 luton (we needed to win) 03 1-2 scunny (relegated/ no manager) 05 0-0 scunny 06 2-2 grimsby 11 3-0 oxford 13 3-2 pompey

Well, in my opinion, there's not a lot to choose between MKDongs and Swindon so if they fall out so much the better. They deserve each other!!!

Good point Pilch, I remember the final day of 2000/01 where we beat (and comfortably beat them) a already promoted Brighton side. Can't see Burton slipping up though, but obviously I bloody hope they do
