Johnson says that some who signed that letter didn't mean it. Are any playing today I wonder?

66% of Cheltenham fans who voted on their own Official Website think that Cheltenham will lose!

Just visited the Tranmere and Hartlepool websites. Their managers are both singing from the same hymn sheet as Johnson and wanting heroes.

There is much talk of promotion parties etc. No one wants Town to win more than me, but i hope Cheltenham don't go and urinate on our barbeque! Seems just a little too much over confidence in some quarters.

agreed Matron. Which is why my eyes will also be on the Wycombe and Southend results. I don't care how we get promotion as long as we get it today! I feel that Luton might just bail us out..2,500 fans going to Southend and they'll be relying on us beating Plymouth next week!

It's certainly gone well for The Robins since they sacked that useless Mark Yates.

I hope that other results go the home sides way today anyhows. I want a Town win and the three points that'll take us up but I'd rather not see us put them down. If we're going to have a party down there it wouldn't be a bad thing if Chelts were to be given at least another week to save themselves...

we need a strong start with 2 early goals, but I agree Cheltenham are up for it, Exeter could well take a point at Hartlepool. come on MM and the Marvels

A draw (with Hartlepool and Tranmere both losing) would perhaps be the ideal result. This would take Cheltenham out of the bottom 2 on goal difference and get us promoted.
Not too good for our title hopes though!

Promises to be a good game of football.

I just have the nagging feeling that at some point in the 90 minutes Kettle is going to be involved in some highly controversial decision. Could be to the advantage of either side though!

To be honest i don't give a stuff what Cheltenham think or do if we are our game today we win. True. But if we win and Hartlepool do as well then it's not going to be too great an atmosphere in the ground as far as the majority of the spectators are concerned.

I still recall that game against Carlisle that sent us into the Conference. A most unpleasant experience.
