Will always remember getting pulled over just off the M5 by the police down there a few years ago with the A488 Fun Bus crew.
The copper said we were the first bus and he asked us how many should they be expecting?! I think we'd sold out the away end and when we told he just told us to get going and quickly ran back to his car frantically talking into his radio as they clearly weren't prepared for the numbers coming down! LOL

As I've said its hardly a surprise if the local police force are a bit over-zealous considering how Shrewsbury fans have been so open the past week about things like intending to go in the home end or ignoring the allocated seating rule.
Its not exactly rocket science yet people still do it

Its not exactly rocket science yet people still do it Yes can all town fans please arrive in a orderly fashion whilst wearing requested attire of dinner suit, but blue or amber dickie is allowed. On arrival please make a silent approach to the association football ground of Cheltenham Town Fc. Please make sure you purchase a tea or coffee prior to taking your allocated seat and please do not stand sing or clap during the 90mins. At the end please shout 3 cheers to Cheltenham Town and return to the Salopia Republic immediately .

Maybe I'm missing the point of your post but mine was not moaning at people for standing or going in the home end. It was for the fact that they talk about it online which naturally draws attention to it, those same people will then moan when the local police/stewards are heavy handed. I hate sitting down and was hoping of an outside chance of being able to stand up in a group but that's looking even more unlikely now because of people going on about it for the past week

No dig at you PS,just sums up modern football, turning out to be a day out at the theatre more than a football match.

He knew we were taking a shed load but oh no, he waits until this Wednesday to get them and surprise, surprise ,all sold out. His logic defies belief . The only good thing to come out of it is that I won't have to listen to you banging on about Farage and the loons of UKIP. Every cloud has a silver lining owd lad. P.S. Enjoy the day , hopefully at least one of us will witness Town gaining promotion .

Excellent advice, non of which you have the slightest intention of following. you forgot to mention about not invading the pitch at the end, shouting and screaming, sing in' an dancin. Maybe cos you' ve got no intention of making your way home, at the end, happy and with a radiant smile offering condolences to the Cheltenham fans for being relegated.

Well it makes a change for the cops down there from trying to stop big-eared types from nicking cider apple.
