That is good news!
Worry is Lawrence injury which Mellon seemed to indicate makes him doubtful for next week. This leaves us very short in midfield. I am also concerned how much we are going to miss Percival on todays defensive showing!

Really good news. The way it was described on the Radio it sounded really bad and feared the worse either from a head injury or bad leg break, but a big boost he should be fit for next Saturday

I am also concerned how much we are going to miss Percival on todays defensive showing! We miss the player KP but more so.,we miss the balance he gives the defence. I am very surprised we haven't entered the loan market for a left-sided defender, a weakness in the squad that would have really been exposed if Demetriou's injury had been serious yesterday.

Glad he's ok, but he's been poor for a good few weeks now, and at fault for the 2nd goal.

Not sure the hardy souls who travelled to Carlisle (and the rest of us) would agree when he popped up with a dramatic equaliser, and been part of a defence that we haven't seen for a long time. Unfortunately usual crisis management reactions we see too often on here.

Disgusting tackle, glad he's alright. I suggest you have a look at the incident again . The tranmere guy does nothing they both stop and Demetriu falls awkwardly . Not even a foul in any way shape or form

Not even a foul in any way shape or form Are you for real?! While I do not for one minute think it is intentional or malicious, Odejayi goes into the challenge with his forearm/elbow at jaw/head height and smashes into Demetriou. It is a foul all day long and I don't think there could have been many complaints had a red card been produced. This isn't great quality, but shows the arm/elbow ploughing into the side of Demetriou's head/face.

It's nothing, just a coming together of 2 people one a bit bigger and stronger than the other . Rightly no foul was awarded

It's a foul for me, MD gets there first and is caught after the ball, but certainly don't think the Rovers player leads with an arm.

Having seen it on Football League Show, it's as I thought at the time, a coming together. A foul for sure, but nothing too malicious. I imagine being flattened by Odejayi would be similar to being flattened by Grandison!

Glad he's ok, but he's been poor for a good few weeks now, and at fault for the 2nd goal. You must be joking . How can you say he's been poor for a good few weeks? What we don't want is even more changes to our defensive set up after losing NKP . Personally I think as he has come from non league and this is his first season he has done brilliantly for us and can only get better. Surely you aren't suggesting that he should be "rested " callum?

I don't think a rest would hurt him, if we had back up. I just think he hasn't been great since probably the Chelsea game.

He was definitely at fault for the second goal but to suggest he has been poor in recent weeks is so wide of the mark as to be almost laughable. Demitriou has been a revelation of a signing and an absolute asset to this team, he will also go onto make this club a bit of money in the transfer market. One of my picks as player of the year.

I think he's dropped off since Chelsea too. He's not been poor, he's part of the divisions best defence, but his forward forays very rarely end with a good final ball anymore. Early season he was whipping in fantastic first time balls but so many now end up with the keeper or out of play. That's my only moan, he's not playing as well as he can do. Saturday's mare was an exception, Glad he's ok.

Is fit and I assume available for Saturday. Wouldn't of expected that after seeing him stretchered off last Saturday.

Great news on Mickey - just as good news that Lawrence is only 'unlikely' to be available as I expected him to be out for a fair while after watching him limp off at the weekend. It looked for all the world like his knee was buggered (official medical term I believe).
