If I was Leutwiler I wouldn't be impressed that my manager has missed some good vital work within the game. Mellon's blinkered view can only be put down to standing next to westley for ninety minutes last week. It's rubbed off on him

When they watch the DVD I bet someone will point those saves out....

To be honest, it was quite hard to tell from the away end how good they were. They both looked like saves I'd have expected him to make, but the shallow angle and the fact we were bloody miles from the pitch makes it hard to tell. The press boys probably had a better view.

MM obviously having a bad vision day as having seen the sending off on SSN not sure why he thought it harsh.......two footed lunge giving the ref no option.

MM has said this a couple of times this season. Rose-tinted specs, bad memory or propaganda? He should have had no chance with the first - the one he saved with his legs - if O'Connor had cut inside rather than gone wide. Would say the other was routine but appeared as though the lad struck it well.

Why is Wildig involved in this?

They were decent saves but ones you'd expect him to make. He looks far more confident dealing with crosses etc now than earlier in the season.

Goldson's mistake and Ellis the covering man.

Based on the chance they showed on the FLS the save from the Newport player who went through (Zebroski?) I'd have been disapointed had he scored from that angle.

Definitely looked like he had a clear run on goal in real time. Great covering run from Ellis to push O'Connor wide. Perhaps I need to go to Specsavers too!

Why is Wildig involved in this? Perhaps it means Burton at Southport?
