Free agent after leaving Carlisle.
Once dubbed a "selfish person and selfish player" by Peters. Despite his transfer to Nice being controversial IMO he was one of the most exciting strikers in a town shirt.
Given Mangan's recurring injury - would you have him back on a deal till the end of the season?

One of my favourite players , a proper joy to watch.
A big part of his game was pace and he's bound to have lost a lot of it at his age.
It's a no from me.

After the way he deserted us, no way. Granted he was one of the most exciting players I have seen in a town shirt, but a loose cannon. Obviously Derek played for Derek, end of.

I tend to agree with sentiments expressed...........however from a commercial viewpoint, would Del Boy put some bums on empty seats at the Meadow?

Can't see why, it's not as if we are playing dull, uninteresting football at the moment, quite the opposite. BOS is an issue at the moment, but taking on a player who once dumped us in a very unprofessional manner many years ago surely isn't the answer. If the mighty Mellon wants to sign him then I have come to trust his judgement enough to say fair enough, but I for one wouldn't wave and cheer his arrival. However, I would be there to be won back!

No - very exciting at times but like many wide players didn't actually produce very much worthwhile.

Plus, the bugger is 33, no spring chicken.

Is there a Blackpool or Fleetwood connection? If not then he doesn't have the right DNA I'm afraid.

Why on earth would we want to sign a 33 year old player who wasn't even deemed worth a contract with Carlisle, a side currently the second worst in the league?

I wouldn't believe everything Gary Peters told us, he dismantled that playoff squad himself.
I'd certainly have him back on a short term deal to the end of the season on a contract that suited the club.

Almost single handedly cost us promotion that season due to selfishness. Missed penalty at home to Bristol Rovers when Symes should have taken it.

Doesn't hang around anywhere long does he?
As much as I enjoyed watching his football then, I wouldn't want him back now.
