Be interesting on how they depart the pitch at Newport on Saturday..... Transfer window closes Monday, will it be the final farewell?

Can't see it myself - and certainly hope not! More ££££££££ during the closed season rather than this stupid January window!

MM said no one is leaving so unless we get a hell of an offer I think they'll stay. What's the situation with Woods' contract? I thought a one year extension kicked in last summer, yet MM mentioned earlier that we have him contracted for two years? Would there really be an automatic extension on the back of an automatic extension or is he out of contract in the summer? I'd hate to see another Collins saga.

It was autumn last year when he said 2 years so I think he was just rounding up.

Would be interesting to see who in the squad are out of contract at year end - it cannot be as bad (or good depending how you see it) as coming into this year, but it could look similar to when we went up last time where we lost some key players.
Have much more confidence that we will not make the same contractucal balls ups that we have in the past - would anyone be willing to put money on us not messing up the Bradshaw contract so he went for nothing ?

Heard there is significant interest in Goldson.
Hopefully we stay strong and keep hold of him.

We would have sold them already if we was going to, unless there is a clause to loan them straight back.

No suspiciously long waves or clapping at the end I hope?!! To be honest, everyone was clapping and jumping up and down, etc., at the win, it would have been hard to tell.

Just seen his shot on goal yesterday on TV. That's why I've no doubts he'll still be here Tuesday

That's why I've no doubts he'll still be here Tuesday Woods has been no more than average the last 6 gmes or so, and whilst he has done enough to warrant being on the starting team sheet for these games he is not ready to step up and it would not surpise me if he is still with us for the next 12 months.
Connor Goldson on the other hand, will see the season through because he wants a promotion medal first, but I would expect him to move on for big money come the end of the season!

The good thing about the Woods shot yesterday was that he did actually have a go instead of laying off. The more he has a go the better in my book.

Will be glad to get through the transfer window with Goldson still here.
As good as Woods form has been you think any side putting a bid in for him will be buying potential for the future.
With Goldson I think he could easily play at League one level now, possibly Championship level. A side from that level might just put in a big bid as decent centre backs are in short supply

Being realistic I cannot see us turning down 7 figure (or somewhere near that) offers for either Goldson or Woods, especially if any deal includes us keeping them for the rest of this season. Both players look like they have the ability to perform at a much higher level than we may be able to offer them, in my view they will be moving on at some point in the near tuture.

MM spoke about this earlier this week. Woods is coming under great scrutiny from opposing players and at times finding himself being man-marked. This is a great compliment as Ryan is being identified at a main threat even when he sits deep. MM reckoned it's a learning curve and he'll have to find a way to overcome the attention to still be as effective as before.

Hard to say whether I'd take £1 million for Woods.
It's a lot of money but I see Exeter managed to get £1.75 million for a young CM (Grimes). He is on the bench for Swansea today too after only playing in League 2.
Judging Woods' season as a whole, he will be worth more than a £1 million in a couple of seasons but that sort of money could do wonders for our club.
Woods + Goldson going for £3 million between them would transform this club.
