After 2 years of bland, uninspiring performances and dodgy decisions from those at the club, I finally feel a renewed sense of pride supporting the town! Credit to MM and the influential Matt Williams who have played a big part in our phenomonal turnaround, not forgetting RW, who I'm sure was aware of the errors made last season. With the strength in depth we have and the team spirit of the squad, I genuinely believe we can go up automatically and as champions. Viva la Shrewsbury!!

We're on a good path to promotion at the moment.

I agree things feel good at the moment, but the road to ruin is always just a short walk away, hence I don't tend to let myself get over excited about stuff.
That and the fact that I'm a real miserable t**t!!

it is still 1 game at a time, but even from Deepest Devon I see Town creating clear blue water from some clubs like Luton. but burton, southend are still keeping in touch.
my 2 "Lucky" Loggerhead Teddy Bears Roland and Graham are really enjoying this season from afar. long may it continue.

That and the fact that I'm a real miserable t**t!! Or, maybe just a realist. At the moment the good times are back because we have a team that never gives up, a manager who has somehow instilled pride not only in them but in us and a team who are on the whole a joy to watch. The really, really good times will be back when we are mathematically promoted. Until then the MM approach will do for me - one half of one game at a time.

We always tend to move into the top three after home games. Now the challenge is to put a decent run of away victories together to really cement that position and start to see some daylight appear from our close running rivals.
Plenty of twists and turns to come yet me thinks.

If you look at the games we should have won away , we should be 9-10 points clear in 1st !

As Mellon keeps on saying, we haven't achieved anything yet.
