The clip art lion mural does stick in the throat - I think it should be painted over. Ah but it's now part of our 'history', not a popular part but you can't rewrite history, it happened!

Actually got promoted twice using that thing... shocking fact. Where does that place it in relation to other badges?

put it this way . Roy Race would have been embarrassed to have worn it on the seat of his pants. but I agree Clippy is as much of town's history as the Shrew and the Coracle. now what a name for any new pub built near the meadow- " The Shrew and Coracle"

3 of my favourites are The Swan and Cemetary (Bury), The Clog and Billycock (Blackburn), and The Labour in Vain ( a number of venues, all of which have had grief with the pub sign).
Unfortunately, a pub near Tranmere known to the locals as "The Blood Tub" has now been pulled down. It had an interesting history.
There is apparently a "Coracle Inn" on Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury. Never visited it myself. Any good?

The badge was awful, and whilst it's gone now it was part of the club for so long it shouldn't be airbrushed out. It can stay a footnote!

I would rather we spent a few quid painting the steel work on the out side starting to look like a rusty Los boat needed doing for a couple of years now looks a real mess when you walk round the outside of the ground. Plus the great crack in the wall on the corner of the west stand These are far more important

Hopefully all the steelwork will get a nice coat of blue! I was just going to say that myself, on the original New Meadow video the steelwork was blue...

Anyone else noted that the amber seats are beginning to fade into a horrific shade of peach?

Where’s northern salopian gone? Last I heard he was engaged in a bitter feud with Northwestman on the Heybridge Swifts forum circa May last year. Seem to recall the dispute being over Mark Duffy's reported wage demands prior to joining Sheffield United last summer. Could be wrong though.
