The ex-Telford duo of Bentley and Ken McKenna adds another angle to tomorrow's game. They would love to end our unbeaten home run.

Good lad, Bentley. I remember up at Morecambe when he came up for a corner, and Town fans were giving him the bird, with, "You fat bustard", he just laughed and shouted back, "bollards". At the end of the game, he came over and clapped us.

I like Jim Bentley. Proper lower league grafter, hard but not dirty.

Town liked his Dad . Tried to buy him from Wellington Town where he scored goals for fun . Bet they wished they had a player like him now .
Come to think of it ...............,........

I watched Jim Bentley play for Town. He had a trial in a reserve game. Played ok but obviously didn't do enough.

Jim's one of the most genuine guys I've ever met in the game. Top man. More than can be said for his assistant if today's performance is anything to go by.

RW was very distressed to hear that Mellon had slammed the Bentley.

Jim Bentley was very complimentary about STFC in The Football Paper, saying that no only did he think we would get promoted, but that he hoped we would.
