Town fans are incredibly harsh on young Tom Eaves imo. He came into a side devoid of confidence who were hard to beat and put in some great performances and played a big part in us staying up. Last season we were utter, utter s**te and he lost all his confidence. Yes he was poor, but then again which of our players last season could honestly say they had a good season? Jacobson, Woods and Wildig at a push?
Yes he's not perfect, yes he's got a terrible first touch but he's got a terrific shot on him and don't forget, he's still only 22.

Be interesting to see how this plays out considering the fair amount of abuse he received from one or two Town fans last season.

His lacklustre performances and effort will leave a stain at greenhous meadow for years . Was hard to believe it was the same player that came back . Thank god we didn't buy him . Off to the bookies tomorrow to see the best deal I can get on yeovils relegation .

I will never forgive Tom Eaves for selfishly not squaring the ball in the final moments at Molineux.
Shame on you, Tom. Please never visit our football club again in any context.

I hope the lad does well.he is trying to make a career on the game and yes, he looked poor for us last season, but how many of our bunch of nomads covered themselves on glory. He showed in his first spell here that he has the ability to make a player - it is up to him to work hard and apply himself.

thought he was a bit of a donkey in his first spell, yep hat-trick against Crawley and 2 against MKDongs but apart from that, his second touch was always a tackle. The donkey element was confirmed on his second spell

He never looked like a natural on the ball. In terms of technique I always thought he was lacking, but his eye for goal was confirmed in his first loan spell with us. If you're going to judge him on his second loan spell I think that is exceptionally harsh due to the fact that his confidence would have been low and the team surrounding him were very uncreative.
The incident where he didn't pass the ball across to Taylor was infuriating at the time but he clearly wanted bag himself a goal to boost his confidence. An in form striker or one who believes in himself is always going to have a pop at goal, just in this case he fluffed it up!
Hope it works out well for him, I never like seeing young players failing to develop.
