Hello all, Watford fan in peace here
My Dad, and avid Shrewsbury fan passed away recently, and the club kindly agree to print an obituary in the programme from the Mansfield game. I haven't managed to confirm that they did this, and also can't ssem to find anywhere in the official site where I can order a programme...
Can anyone help me with answers to both parts of the questions? For info, the requested obituary said that my Dad was from Church Stretton
Thanks in anticipation
Kev

Hi Kev, sorry about your loss. Your Dad is indeed on page seven. If you're struggling to get hold of a copy from the club just pm me your address and I'll pop mine in the post to you. Regards, Paul

I knew your Dad as he travelled on the bus from Ludlow to home games getting on at Church Stretton. He and another Ron. We once met them at a local restaurant where they were having Sunday lunch as were we and they came back to us for a coffee. A lovely person and very interesting to talk to. I knew that he had become frail but I still looked out for him in Church Stretton. My condolences to you and your family. I too have a programme which for the above reasons I would like to keep but if you need it I will send it on gladly.

Ps I lived in Watford for several years until 1977 and before that in Rickmansworth so have more than a passing interest in Watford FC. Also have what we call on here an 'exiled' Watford fan as a friend. Good luck for this season.
