Eddie had a turn for the worse last night and is in RSH.
I just spoke to him and he thanks everyone for their good wishes but says he can't get a mobile signal to text people back so please don't get worried if he does not respond!
He's going to be under observation a while - but the radio silence is not a cause of further concern.
So thanks for all the good wishes but please don't text asking for a response! If you write good wishes here he will see it at his convenience.
All the best Eddie.

Young Eddie's dad taught me at skool.
Given how you've turned out I doubt that to be his finest educational achievment.

Rubbish. I'll have you know, that Mr Steer once looked at my homework and said he'd never seen anything like it.

How very rude of him, is it really that big?! Don't know you personally, but best wishes for a swift recovery Mr Steer.

All best wishes for your recovery. I met Eddie at an away match several years ago and although I worked at BC School after his dad had retired, I had heard all about him although not about you JT!!!!!
Have spotted Eddie this season not looking too bright so I hope all goes well for him.

The man is a malingerer and a deluded one at that. I went to visit him yesterday - we both agreed the most important thing was to complain about the parking charges ......complete rip off by the Hospital. eddie is in a room for 6 people, he says its the nasty Tories fault he is ill. He also said that the consultant told him after. A head scan he has a very small brain....I laughed out loud ....waste of a head scan just ask him which way he votes. Eds room mates are a funny bunch, the three chaps opposite are all loonies, one just keeps sliding out of bed and lying on the floor, the next wants to sort his pin code for his bank card out and finally the old boy on the end keeps p**sing on the floor shouting "weeeee". needless to say Ed feels very much at home and is looking forward to the bed bath. his only concern is Pab works at the hospital....he is simply dreading a visit from the blinkered buffoon.... Any way he will no doubt be sat back in his seat moaning about the football, Tories and our keeper next Saturday

Paid a visit this afternoon and the chap is doing well, in good spirits! He remarked how nice it was to have somebody coherent and orientated to talk to after the idiot Windsor visited and urinated in the corner of the bay shouting weeeee!!
