According to Liam Lawrence MM USED Dean Smith's quote about there being a gulf in class between themand us, in his pre match team talk. I did actually notice said gulf in both games, but I thought Walsall did well to restrict us to just a single goal advantage over two games.

In my humble opinion we should have buried them second half particularly . Apart from anything else our work rate is tremendous . Things are certainly looking up at Greenhouse Meadow .

Hadn't seen that quote from Dean, I can understand him saying that privately to players to boost confidence but to say it public ally was stupid. Sort of thing that will obviously be pinned on the other teams dressing room wall and used as motivation. The extra motivation was clear last night, your team of league two cloggers wanted it more than our team of league one maestros (hope you understand irony). How much of a gulf can there be between a team flying high in league 2 and one struggling in league 1? On our day we can take any team in league 1 to pieces, but those days are few and far between.

Unfortunately belgiansaddler if you're waiting for one T. Bradshaw to fire you up the League you will be waiting forever . Why do you think we are not at all bothered by his departure . Surprised he was taken on by you g***'s , thought his next move might have been to Tin Pot Telford F.C. Still , good luck to you in the JPT , but with no strikers worth talking about you are facing a real uphill struggle . P. S. I hear Bolton have got a real prospect on their books , one T. Eaves . Perhaps Dean could give him a try.

After a day of metaphorically kicking the cats and generally snarling at anyone who spoke to me, that is the first thing that made me smile Love it

Perhaps Dean could give him a try. The world is full of examples of local kids that for one reason or another had to move away from their local clubs before being appreciated and realising their potential. Many of our fans hated Michael Rickets, he moved away and did the business. He would of done much better if he had had a brain and some decent career advice. Things didn't work out for Bradshaw at your place for whatever reason. He has come to us and blossomed into a top lower league striker. He works his socks off, runs the channels, causes constant worries for the opposition defence and is a good finisher. The only thing that worries me is his dodgy hamstrings and he seems injury prone. We are a different team when he plays cos him and Sawyers combine so well. Sounds like you are bitter fella, take a chill pill. That miss by eaves at your place a couple of years ago is one of my favourite moments in 40 years of supporting the Saddlers lol. Really wish you had signed him and got rid of Liam bloody Lawrence

your team of league two cloggers Don't think so.
A certain team at the top of the Premiership would beg to differ

Listen to yourself People's criticism of Bradshaw in recent seasons has plummeted to new lows on here so don't be surprised if his good start at Walsall doesn't sit well with some of our fans. For many of us, him leaving was probably best for all concerned, including him. We're happy with the strikers we've got now and I'm sure he's happy playing regularly at Walsall in L1. On current form, he's as good as any of our strikers but such is the nature of goal scoring, who knows what the situation might be in a few months time. Good luck to him and Walsall to a certain extent. Hopefully we will renew rivalries next season in L1.

On our day we can take any team's coach in league 1 to pieces, sell on the salvageable parts, and shift the catalytic converters for a few hundred notes. Wow...!

The price of catalytic converters has plummeted faster than shrewsbury did in the early 2000's. We are struggling to maintain our caravans these days

Don't be silly , you don't fool us , it's not the vans that are hard to maintain , it's the donkeys pulling em . Don't tell me , yours is called Tommy . Don't ask me how I know but I put two and two together what with a certain player injured and came to a very sensible conclusion . You stop beating him with that Donkey Walloper , we tried that with our Tom the Donkey and it didn't work . Not bitter fella , well, can't believe TB is seen by your lot as a player and has actually scored a few goals. Tell me , does he still do a very passable impersonation of a teapot - if you've got to ask the answers no. Best of luck for the season owd lad - was going to say till we meet again next season but , on reflection ........

Tommy Bradshaw was not given a fair crack at the Meadow in my opinion especially last season after starting the 1st half dozen he got 5 goals a fair return then we put all hopes on muppet loans and drop him. Good look to Tom we move on with a better player returning in Collins and Mangan looks a steal that's cost nowt. Win win all round.
