I couldn't get up for the game when it was drawn but am now considering going. One step away from the 3rd round, as if our players need any more motivation. Looking at their forum it seems the majority of their fans are taking us for granted.... big mistake ! 18k earned last night for getting through R1

The less thoughtful PNE fans, I imagine's gut reaction will be to judge us on the JPT game earlier this season? I didn't go but it wasn't our full strength side was it, and we were in more a transition period then? Equally though I wouldn't be judging them on when we beat them home and away 2 seasons ago! So I would say they start as favourites but its definitely up for grabs and we'll give them a good test.

Having beaten teams that are better than Preston this season already it is a more than winnable tie. That said it is one of the hardest games we could have drawn at this stage in the competition, it won't be any disgrace to lose it, we have had a good cup run already, and any other cup wins this season are a bonus. After all it is time to start and concentrate on the main focus for this season - to move up a division and play the likes of Preston & Walsall every week come next year.
As with the Walsall tie we just can't lose with this game - it's win / win whatever the result, so no pressure just go out and enjoy it.

Was at the jpt game , can't remember our squad exactly but I think vernon caton , Griffith and Ellis all played and it was a very even scrappy game . Hopefully they will underestimate us and we can do the business !

With the FA cup the away fans should pay the same as home fans.

Hopefully they will underestimate us and we can do the business ! You're right, it had the feeling of an (albeit well attended) reserve match with both sides making a lot of changes. We played 3-4-3 I think - Wesolowski, Collins and Vernon who were all "first choice" at the time all came off the bench and Goldson didn't play, but there wasn't a great deal in it betwen the two sides.
