Well done lads very proud, we battled hard and had Chelsea scared, terrific support hopefully we did well out of it financially We may of been beaten but can hold our heads high. Defiantly not embarresed. Need a decent perfpamce on Saturday to ensure there's no hangover now.
Floreat salopia

We did good. That's the first time I've seen our lads this season and it really does give me a fair bit of confidence that we should be there or there abouts come the end of the season. Might well be a kick in the pips to concede so soon after getting the equaliser, hopefully all will be forgotten and we're good to go again this Saturday...

Magnificent effort from the Town. Inevitable that Chelsea would have the bulk of the possession and they got lucky.

I know football is all about opinions but I thought Drogba was a disgrace tonight. Constantly moaning to the ref, tried to get Lawrence booked in the first half saying that he had been fouled 3 times. For a big, strong man he sure falls down easy enough despite all the protection from the ref, chuck in some timewasting at the very end.
Not for me

For me Ryan Woods was man of the match and on a pitch that included Oscar, Schurrle, Drogba, Hazard and Willian I think that speaks volumes.
So proud tonight. Connor McNamara on Radio 5 summed it up. Chelsea in the last few minutes were running the ball into the corner to waste time, they had to work for this result.
We pushed a side including a world cup winner, a handful of Champions League winners and a team almost complete with full internationals further than most premier league sides will this season.
Immensely proud tonight. And our fans were fantastic.

Drogba apparently stayed over half an hour talking to Town fans after the game.
Class.

Both club and team come out of this game with huge credit. Best atmosphere at new ground to date Woods was immense and his confidence in possession is incredible for a young lad. Not much time for chelski generally but thought their fans were impressive to be fair and realty pleased to see ours rise to the challenge. One very proud Salopian

What a wonderful night to all connected with stfc from the supporters I chatted to, to the great sight of the greenhous meadow being packed to the rafters, to the banter flowing between home and away support, what a great atmosphere throughout the evening, to Jose taking time out to meet with the sick children, to everything at the club running smoothly, I sincerely hope with all that beer flowing the club have cleared 200k tonight. The banter in block 1 was great even with my boy flying his chelsea flag it was all well behaved and had a grea feel to it. Thought the whole shrews team were immense and a great solid unit remembering it was up against class opposition, special praise to woods, Goldson and grandison and Collins they stood out, but every player in a blue shirt deserves full credit, and I hope this drives the boys now on to promotion as champions. Nice to see the Chelsea chef hard at work at the back of the coach for when the players were getting back on the coach, great to see blocks 18:19 in full voice and giving it to the chels end creating a great cup atmosphere. All in all a top night for all concerned, I hope this is he start of a good Club relationship between the two clubs and maybe a pre season friendly and a few loans to come in the near future. Carefree and floreat salopia Or as my boy asked me tonight, dad why they singing salad?!?!?! I had to give him the full explanation..

It was always going to be an uphill struggle, and we made sure Chelsea struggled hard for their win.
Great to see some superb football being played too, and all said and done, although I feel extra time would have been fair, I'm not grumbling too loudly.
This League Two team played a blinder.

Really wasn't looking forward to the game and when I saw the strength of the Chelsea team I feared a bit of a cricket score
Great game by Town though. Not only put in a massive effort but played the game in the right way, passing it around and not kicking lumps out of Chelsea. Really hope we can stick with that style of play as it has the potential to take us a long way in league two and hopefully into league one
Whole team was great but Woods was superb. Don't know how long we'll keep him but can talk of his display tonight for many a year as one of the great performances in a Town shirt

To be honest the way they have played for much of this season the performance was exactly what I expected.
