I think liam Lawrence will start.
Bit of experience and a clever football brain could be important.

Same starting XI as vs Bury & Portsmouth. With Lawrence & Mangan on the bench....slightly concerned with Goldson as he looked to be troubled with his left ankle in the 1st half today....but as long as he keeps up his recent home goal scoring record, I'll be happy!
Ideally, I'd like to see Lawrence start, mainly due to his experience at playing in the Premiership, but I don't think he's match fit enough, looked to be feeling his calls after coming on?
MM will play the best I'd available to him, which I feel us the index we've watched over to last week at th GM

I would like to see the youth lads making the subs bench especially Callum Burton, Josh Ginnelly and Dom smith...!

Unchanged for me.
Mangan and Lawrence can do a job from the bench as we keep an eye on our trip to D&R.
Tuesday will be huge physical test depending on who Chelsea start with. We could be chasing shadows for 90 mins ala Gala.

does anyone give town any chance of winning on Tuesday? if we got a quick goal, LOL. my yardstick is losing by less than man utd do, as a success. I would have Liam on bench and bring him on if/when it goes pear shaped or 2nd half like Cheltenham game. do not want him tweaking ham string again, he will be vital for Daggers game.
Daggers held league leaders Wobblers today and 39yr old Jamie Cureton scored his 6th goal of the season!

Assuming everyone is fit - same starting 11 as today for me, although we might see one of the strikers drop back into midfield to get more bodies in there
Result will depend very much on the team Chelsea put out. More than 5-6 first team regulars for them and keeping it under 3.0 will be good. If they put out a much younger side and some of the fringe foreign players not used to lower league cup ties and it could be a close game

It'll be 4-5-1 with Lawrence in for Collins. We'll go 4-4-2 if we go behind.
Woods and Wesolowski will be asked to run 10k whilst Lawrence will do the Jemson genius bit and grab the headlines.
No Lampard, no Mata, doubtful Hazard, doubtful Fabregas, doubtful Oscar, doubtful Willian, the midfield is just asking to be dominated. The big problem we have is Drogba and we need to keep the ball away from him. The only way we do that is from a five man midfield.
It's the only chance we have IMO.

Set pieces may be our best chance, so we should try and accommodate our dead ball specialist Lawrence.

My head says I'd like to see Lawrence start but my heart says I'd like him on the bench purely because I'd love to see Goldson lead them out as captain!

Possibly Lawrence for Grant (not that the lads done anything wrong), or Mangan for A-A just to give us a bit of pace up top. Either of these would be the only changes I'd consider.

great to hear the chant "unbeaten at home" yesterday - but unfortunately think we won't be able to sing it after Tuesday night
Mangan for Collins, Lawrence to start to give his experience - but won't do 90 minutes.

All this talk of 4-5-1 and so on is quite defensive, and will be the undoing of us, stick to what we know, attack and close down fast, hoping for high winds torrential rain and freezing cold.
to get anything out of this game, we need to do the unexpected and play the game of the season.... but gotta believe, or what's the point in turning up!

5-3-2 again.
It seems to be working for us and has got us this far against higher league opposition.
Leutwiler
Grimmer Grandison Goldson Knight-Percival Demetriou
Woods Wesolowski Lawrence
Collins Akpa-Akpro

Leutwiler
Grimmer Goldson Grandison NKP Demetriou
Woods Lawrence Wesolowski
Collins Akpa Akpro
3-5-2/5-3-2
Subs: Halstead, Ellis, Clark, Grant, Mangan, Vernon, Griffith
That would be my set up, depending on Grimmer being eligible.

Same as yesterday with Lawrence in for Grant, just to add experience and knowhow.
Agree with Downie that just play our natural game, we know we are likely to lose but at least have a go. That Liverpool game was a massive anti-climax for many reasons, one of them was because we set up to keep the scoreline 'respectable' and had no intentions of trying to play.

I woulD go with the team that started Saturday, with Mangan, Lawrence and Clarke coming on to replace tired legs. Both Mangan and Lawrence seem to be sharing the free kick duties, with Mangan the only one to have scored from a free kick at Leicester. It's going to be a game where the intro of subs will be important, as we will probably spend a lot of the game chasing after the ball. Both Woods and Grant have the ability to hold the ball and give our lads a bit of a rest. Just hope we play the way we have been doing, passing, moving and switching the play without anyone deciding to become a "star" and doing too much. It's going to be a long hard night, but it's our long hard night and another game to etch into the memory bank of the "new" ground. Looks like it's going to be a tremendous night, with two huge marquees, street sellers, everything we have wanted in the past that befits a big cup-tie game. THe S.F.R.A have even asked if they can have a tent.

An interesting test for MM, tactics. who to play, how to play, when to substitute. All we can ask is that those picked give there all and Collins has took full advantage of the extra hour in bed today.

Arsenal v Shrewsbury: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/14893648Three players in that game will more than likely start on Tuesday. I guess we will play the same formation and near enough the same squad. The only changes will be due to knocks or injuries that have surfaced since the game finished yesterday, with only one or two possible swaps as mentioned above. Lawrence on for Grant? - is that fair as Grant has done well in the role he was given. Mangan on for JLAA? It all depends if you want a quick player to rip past defence or a strong player to play the ball to. Tough, but hopefully enjoyable choices for MM to make. Either way whoever starts will probably get replaced by the other option during the match.

Really hope Lawrence gets the nod tonight instead of grant , grants set pieces are not upto it at all IMO , on a night like this , you need every corner and free kick on the money to be in with a chance . And Lawrence oozes quality , !

I really hope that Connor and Ryan can shine against world class opposition and put themselves in the shop window. We all know how good they are and can be, but a great performance by the whole team and these two especially will go a long way to getting them dream moves (ideally after we've lifted the Cup, but then again they might want to stay for European football next season).
