Pretty decent today I thought one of the better ones at the New ground, well done to the southstand for making an effort.

I thought that there seemed to more noise coming from the East Stand ad well today.
As for the South Stand, after they scored the penalty, one guy shouted 'Cmon Town! Cmon lads!' And the rest if the stand seemed to galvanise....and Tuesday night under the lights in front of a full house? Let's get the chants going all game!

Thought it was pretty flat today other than one or two small periods.
Can guarantee it'll be different on Tuesday night!

They turned the speakers up before the game, somebody found the button!
Unfortunately, they turned it down again at half-time, which wasn't such a bad thing since the music consisted of the two most miserable ballads of the 21st Century.
Nevertheless, there was an air of excitement with Tuesday in mind. It's not nervous excitement like a play-off game, it's just genuine, full-on, giant-killing excitement that is almost unique to lower league football.
Everyone is looking forward to it. Tuesday will be buzzing.

And which steward was responsible for letting the Portsmouth fans bring in a drum?
I suspect they were told to turn a blind eye as the guy who brought it in was the Portsmouth fan interviewed in the programme. Wouldn't have been very good p.r!

Hopefully the atmosphere won't be diluted by day trippers wondering why Block 19 are singing 'Salad Salad'....

Northwestman we are allowed a drum, and we have one in the home end.

Thought Saturday was pretty quiet for most part.
On the topic of atmosphere, though, a friend came up with this & asked me to put it online for opinions. Decent effort I think:
Micky Mellon had a dream, to build a football team We had no players so we signed them all on a free (''all on a free'') We play from the back (''we play from the back'') With Clark in atta-aa-ck, Floreat Salopia is on it's way back
Just an idea of his. Could tweak it.

In my opinion we don't need any new songs , just more people to join in with the ones already would be good ! Only about 25 people join in , I think most Shrewsbury fans just like to sit in silence !
