From a rough little work out, last nights victory means:
84 wins 42 draws 42 losses
50% 25% 25%
If we win every home game between now and the end of the season we will secure our 100th win, and possibly the title, vs Plymouth on the last day !

If you are going to post stats at least get them right! From your numbers:-
84 wins out of 134 games = 62.69% 25 draws out of 134 games = 18.66% 25 losses out of 134 games = 18.66%
Just saying, like.

Oops, now corrected. I was going to blame MS Excel and then realised I had just copied them over wrong

The number of games is correct (7 seasons x 23 = 161, + 7 from this season) Actual record: Won 83, Drawn 47, Lost 38 Not so neat....but preferable

Where did you get that from? I looked everywhere to find that stat and in the end I just added them up quickly in my head using Statto.com . D'oh!

From his numbers , where do you get the 25 draws/losses from. I see he has put 42 draws, 42 losses. Added to the 84 games won= 168 games.?

For the record - there is even disagreement who coined the phrase:
There are 3 types of Lies: Lies, Damn Lies and Stastics!!

Whilst on the subject of stats, when was the last time a Town player scored a hat trick at home?

Statto aswell but with a calculator! I only checked as I couldn't understand highlandshrews post but I now realise his response was to your original post which had then been edited prior to me seeing this thread. Or that's what I think happened!

Whilst on the subject of stats, when was the last time a Town player scored a hat trick at home? Maybe Mark Wright v Hereford? I remember as it was probably the best game I've been to at the new ground. One of the goals was an absolutely belter from the edge of the box right in front of block 18 curled into the far corner

Decent record that. Just a shame that even with that decent record we're still back where we started, the 4th division...

Decent record that. Just a shame that even with that decent record we're still back where we started, the 4th division... We all know that one of the main reasons for that is the away form. In the same period the away record in the league is - Played 168. Won 40. Drawn 54. Lost 74

Was it Crawley or was it MK Dons? Got a feeling it was the Dons. He scored 2 away at the MK in a 3-2 win. I remember the Crawley game well because of all that palava when we got the penalty at 2-0, Richards got booed for taking it and stuck it into the middle of the Sourh Stand. Eaves managed to complete his hat-trick in the remaining time though, we won 3-0.
