Absolutely immense tonight, so desperate for him to score and so was Clarke if that chance at the end was anything to go by.
Non stop work rate and week in, week out puts in such selfless and crucial performances.
There is much more to a strikers role than goals, his contribution to the teams performances doesn't always bring personal reward but is vital non the less. He must wind the hell out of opponents and long may that continue

Weso's pass should have been Weso's goal, a sign of how much the players are working for each other - trying to work the ball to Collins.

Odd we score five and Collins didn't get one, but definitely a major factor in the win
Must be horrible to play against him when he plays like tonight. Just on the right side of aggression hounding the opposition defence and getting them turned to create space for other to run into
Only downside to his performance is it makes me wonder how we would have done in league one with him leading the front line. Such a shame we couldn't have kept him, but great to have him back

Agreed, awesome tonight covered every blade of grass and caused problems for the whole back line, back to his best, as he also was at York.......
He did , for me, have a couple or three games lately where it didn't seem all was as well with him, where the effort was lacking, but when on song as tonight he is a tremendous asset..
Grimmer also excellent for me again as Saturday, would like to see us keep him for the season.........

Although he didn't score he played a fantastic game & gave the Bury defence no respite. big reason for our win. Well played!

Meh. I thought I saw a mohican on the ball. My bad. Defo Clarke. Collo was outstanding tonight and even drew plaudits off the old man, who incidently isn't Collo's greatest fan. His performance summed it up when he bollocked Clarke for not shooting at goal when he tried to lay it off to Collo.

Far too good a player for this level, confident he will have at least 15 goals to his name come May, with Mangan and Akpa looking good for double figures each as well it really bodes well. The good news these days is that if worse case scenario we do lose him again (or any of our best players for that matter) it will have to be for a significant 6 figure sum.

Collins went ape at our keeper for failing to line up the wall correctly.keeper JL centre of goal and Collins was screaming at him as he had no sense of standing on his post and positioning the wall. Twice collo bellowed and fortunately Ryan Lowe missed the free kick. incident showed passion of Collo but lack of experience on Leutwiler .Should be basic knowledge of any keeper though

Collins certainly played like a man possessed, with the forwards we have this season we really do defend from the front.

Played a good game last night. I was particularly impressed by his new break dancing routine when chopped down by their defender!!

The last time Collins played Portsmouth (for Swindon) he scored four goals. Just saving them up, obviously

Collins is an absolute great forward, who deserves to play on a higher level. Just like this Club.

I think during our run of away defeats, Collins was poor, which probably illustrates what a big influence he has on our side. Against Bury he was at his marauding, energetic best and set the tempo for the team's excellent performance. Is he capable of playing higher (again), yes I think so, but so are many reserve and lower league players. A run of form and consistency has to be his target now and see where that takes him, and more importantly, us.

Anyone notice him leaving the pitch aft being subbed. No clap to the fans, no walk towards him from the gaffer and no handshake, he didn't have the best of games today but no lack of effort and service to him wasn't the best.
Not reading a lot into it but his body language suggested he was def not a happy bunny about coming off which I suppose is a way is the kind of attitude we want

Absolutely. It means he wants to play 90 minutes for us every week. That'll do for me, he just needs a goal poacher alongside him. Akpro maybe, but keep playing them as a partnership to see what unfolds.
