and we are on 24 points, exactly the same amount we were on when we got promoted in the 2011-12 season.
Great result tonight and most give this squad a huge amount of confidence.
Onwards to Portsmouth where we must carry on this unbelievable home form.
The job Micky Mellon has done is something else, to get that many new players in and to gel like they have must have been some task.

The key is building on the win away on Saturday.
If we can clock up regular points on our travels then we are title contenders. If not then the lottery of the play-offs beckon.

What looking good is the strength in the squad. With Lawrence and Mangan injured its great to be able to bring in other players who slot in and perform Clark his goal really well tonight and great to have a lively player like that to bring on after 70 minutes

The league will start to take shape come Christmas . Teams like Wycombe and morecambe will fade away! And we will be firmly cemented in the runaway pack .

I am hoping we've got the worst out of our system and have actually started to gel.
Plus a bit of wiggling with the formation and we have options.
I certainly have never known such a strong squad I don't think - not for a long time.

not forgetting Roland and his Root and Branch. rather be p**sing league 2 than bottom feeding in league 1. I suspect we have learnt lessons from last season. we must be on our guard and prepare to lose players in January and MM will be difficult to hold on to if higher teams want him. Birmingham?
one thing in our favour is most players in the squad are on longer contracts.

I have to say, sometimes his decisions confuse me but they have worked out ok so far. We're playing atractive football and beating teams above us in the league, reminds me of his predecessor in his heyday.

I suspect we have learnt lessons from last season. That remains to be seen but lets hope so...
