Very good game - very impressed to walk in to the team he doesn't know and play like that

Had a great debut.
Gives us a real attacking threat down the flanks. Gayle may struggle to regain his place

Suprised to see him dropping down into League Two after spending time in League one last season. It doesn't strike me as the normal movement for a parent club.
Good move for Salop though.

Good to see some positivity about a loan signing on here. A year ago we started the Peterborough league game with fewer loanees than we started with today

You'll get a warning about that post for sure. Indeed, I'll give a warning as I'm not happy with his post. It should be "fewer loanees", not "less loanees"

My man of the match from the York game, great debut. He won the free-kick that led to the goal and was a constant threat down the right side which was additionally difficult considering he was up against York's best player (IMO).

How many times did he nutmeg a York player. At least 3 I think.
Feisty character to if the end of the game is anything to go by.

Didn't go yesterday but have felt the full backs are an area we need more options in, and Gayle has struggled in recent games.
Good signing by the sounds of it, perhaps been able to get him on loan as Fulham don't have a full time manager at the moment and he's out of the caretaker managers first team plans.

The ref blew his whistle and the players shook hands and walked off for a shower.
I feel a bit sorry for Gayle. He seems to struggle with the wing back position, he's probably more at home in a flat back four.

Great name and with Scott Vernon here he will hopefully settle in well.
Interesting (well for me) that even with the turmoil on and off the field Fraser Fyvie (who is another player Jack Grimmer knows well) was still positive about the club - even though his own loan was far from successful
There is also the added bonus that he can translate what ever the manager is saying to the players even if it is only to order more porridge ;-)

Nice to see him celebrate the win tonight in front of block 13 clearly enjoyed himself tonight
Looks a class act. Sound defensively; good going forward and able to make space for himself to get crosses in. Also has a bit of an edge about him and quite vocal telling other players where he wanted the ball played.
Definitely a loan player we'd like to keep on tonight's performance

Good to see some positivity about a loan signing on here. A year ago we started the Peterborough league game with fewer loanees than we started with today Interesting one Paul, and it made me look back to the team that day as I couldn't believe that was the case! But you are right, we started with one loanee, Christian Lopez.
We did however end with having had 3 loanees involved as Liam McAlinden replaced Lopez and Adam Reach also came on in that game.
But there were just 3 loanees in our 18 man squad that day and, at that time of the season, we were playing quite well and I certainly didn't foresee the struggles to come.
As for Grimmer, very impressed with him tonight (and Grant too). I would hope we may be able to turn it into at least a three month loan if not a season long one as this has been the one position we have struggled in when playing with wing-backs. The only issue may be that when a new man is appointed at Fulham, he may well want all his players at the club to assess them first hand.
