:)Great news . And, as a plus, Shrewsbury is being pronounced correctly ( not Shrowsbury) by the presenters.

Definitely only worth the money if we win.
But expect us to dine out on this for a while

BBC breakfast weather is at Bowbrook? Allotments in Shrewsbury reporting on the win. Yeah, saw that . Why? Perhaps the onions and leeks had gone to seed and produced a lovely display . Just thought it was a strange choice , Carol Kirkwood surrounded by allotmenteers poking around at the fag end of the growing season and not a shed in sight . Mind you I wouldn't mind poking around Carol in a shed .

Whats the prize? Hope its sufficient to cover the cost of competing........ Seems a drain on the Council Tax pot or is it all covered by sponsorship? Since SABC was replace by SCC, STC seems to have splashed the cash on fleets of new vehicles, offices and seem hell bent on retaining and building their identity..

Great news and great pronounced Shrosebury on report I heard. BBC are like the Star then - getting things wrong. Anyone who was born in Shrewsbury knows there is no right answer to this one and there never will be. Both are right and both see wrong.

Lower league football maybe, but we're best at flowers!
Well OK, that's worth having. Good to be best at something.

Floreat Salopia. let Shrewsbury Flourish! bound to be a bit of latin for flowers in Floreat!
sciropsberie, Shrozebury, Shrewsbury. I call it Shrowsbury, always have, but just as comfortable with the alternative. the more times I hear the town mentioned the better, preferably with 3 goals after the name.
nice to see the late Percy thrower's daughter on bbc Breakfast this morning. now the old fellow would be proud.

They swapped the Wakeman and playing fields for some of the buildings the Sixth form owned along from the China Rose.
