Is there a law on it ? I remember when town played away to Leigh rmi in the conference it was mixed , and also away at Margate (dovers ground ) we were allowed to go anywhere in the stadium .... But I've always wondered about Fulham , seen them on MOTD loads and the fans behind the one goal aways seem mixed with away fans ? Anybody ever been to craven cottage and know how it works ?

Went to Watch Everton with a mate from Ludlow who lives in the smoke now. The Putney End (The one you mentioned behind the goal) is classed as a "Neutral" end - think this is due to Fulham getting alot of football tourists/tourists in general due to it being a very easy ground to reach, nice location, rarely sells out etc. When i went the Everton fans mixed quiet nicely with neutrals and handful of Fulham fans......not even hint of aggro. Though ages to get out ha ah!

As an older supporter the notion that fans have to be segregatated is depressing, it plays to the image of football fans being violent louts who have to be strictly controlled.
My first 20 years or so of watching the Town were in the days before segregation and when changing ends at half time with rival fans passing each other on the Riverside was the norm.
The last non segregated game I remember clearly was in the mid 1970's at Sealand Road and a Chester fan chatting to us saying what a good pair of strikers we had in Bates and Haywood.

It's strange how there never seems to be any trouble at Fulham when fans are mixed !

Perhaps they can handle someone supporting another team without being a bunch of Prick's.

It's strange how there never seems to be any trouble at Fulham when fans are mixed ! What on earth are you wittering about you hopeless individual? You've had the concept explained to you already - i.e. fans at Fulham are not mixed. If you can't get your head around the concept of a neutral end then I'm not sure what remedial steps we can take?
