Would that be all the seats apart from the front row filled then? It will look great on tv if its full instead of rows of covered empty seats. Any one got any idea what sort of stands they will be yet? The ones that just come on the back lorry or scaffolding with seats on as the corners are not going to be the easiest place to get an articulated trailer. Not sure but I was able to get two seats in the temp stand and they are in Row A.

Whatever the result vs Chelsea, the difference between the way that the club has operated throughout the planning process, ticket sales and looking at ways of gaining extra revenue has been like night and day to previously.
Temporary seating? Why not - extra bums on seats = extra revenue for the club (and the possibility of those fans returning to the GM for league games if the match-day experience is good.
Sky Sports - live coverage from the GM. Seeing it full and bouncing on TV will state the clubs intent to a wider audience.
As alluded to in another thread, if we play football vs Chelsea, it gives us the oppurtunity to impress our successful youth policy - therefore opening up the possibility of Chelsea loanees appearing in Blue & Amber at a later date.
Coupled with all of this - there's also the matter of the actual match...we could end up facing their second string/reserves - meaning that we have a chance of another cup shcok, however slim.
COYB!

Let's hope that a televised game shows us in a good light. I can still remember that Bury game a few years back.

That's a decent view that. Fingers crossed that its decent weather come Tuesday for those who are braving the elements. Decent chance for a TV appearance or two for the one side...

Look a lot better than I was expecting!
Thought they might be the flip down sort you get at bus stops and railway stations but actually they are pretty similar to the normal seats
Looks like the same type they use at the Open Golf each season

Why aren't they testing them today? I thought regulations required this prior to full use especially as we will have the grounds biggest Football attendance with two exit points effectively blocked off. And as we have the only club in L2 that is likely to give us an away crowd resembling Chelsea's. We could of used the opportunity to give the Stewards a test in managing and controlling the smaller space between supporters.

They are at both sides of the south stand though so doesn't affect away fans

Heavy rain forecast for Tuesday evening. Bring waterproofs if you're in the temp seating, or near the front of the permanent stands.

If you look at the long range forecast no rain until around 6 till 9 on Tuesday.... Typical British weather it then shows dry till next Sunday but never mind wont reach row N in block 14 I hope ...
Sure the club will have got some plastic poncho's to hand out

Apart from the front row in the north stand will all the netting be taken off if Chelsea had extra seats? Still seams a waste of time and money having seats not used then building new stands.

We could of used the opportunity to give the Stewards a test in managing and controlling the smaller space between supporters. That depends on the rates of passage and emergency evacuation calculations, and with the current exit points in the south, west and east stands, giving an overall length of emergency exit already available, think the lowest common number between space available (no of seats) and the calculated evacuation time is still well in excess of actual capacity, therefore full testing of the capacity wont be needed.
however I reckon the stress testing will have been done off site and required Kn been achieved

The temporary seats are very subtly a different shade of blue to our permanent seats.
Shambles.
