Could you explain it in more depth? Simple straight forward instructions will perplex them meaning you will miss your Holiday trying to help them understand what to do.

So you get tickets knowing you'll miss the game stopping other fans getting them. Well played sir well played.

Unfortunately I will be away for the Chelsea game so I have 2 spare tickets available , anyone wanna make offers ? Sure the club would be more than happy to have them back and provide a refund. Sure they'll have no trouble shifting them again...

So an extra fiver charged by the club is fleecing but then it's open season and grab what you can, is that it? I'm struggling to put it politely but - that's a bit rich, in more ways than one.

Indeed and anyone paying more than £25 must be barmy, have more money than sense and be used to Chelsea prices. Only my opinion of course but I know I couldn't sell them to anyone for more than they cost me. Daft I may be but that's the way I am.

I'm struggling to put it politely but - that's a bit rich, in more ways than one. Like with anything you own - private number plate or a piece of jewellery it's worth as much as somebody is willing to pay . IMO . Which is a bit different to stfc selling tickets to fans with loyalty points for 25 , then selling tickets to anybody for 20.

Fans with loyalty points were clearly willing to pay £25 and those buying uncovered seats with poorer views in the corners will be willing to pay £20 for them. Must be, or else it wouldn't be a sell out. I agree there is one difference though. The club put a limit on the price charged and didn't sell to the highest bidders. Would you have been saying "they're worth whatever someone's willing to pay" if they'd done that?

Would you have been saying "they're worth whatever someone's willing to pay" if they'd done that? there is more people on the stfc system than the capacity of the greenhous meadow . So after loyalty points , and then anybody with a supporter number was able to buy. With 2000 remaining , I think you will find not everybody was "clearly" willing to pay 25 . If you were selling your car (which was a rare car ) and in your head you wanted 1000 for it and somebody offered you 2000 , you wouldn't say oh no actually you can have it for 1000 ! It's worth what somebody wants to pay ,

Just a thought, is there not something in the small print that makes it illegal to advertise tickets to try to sell them on at above face value. If there is I am sure the club will try to track down the seller to possibly exclude them from buying future tickets. Not sure if this is right but we will see.

Think you'll find tickets are not officially transferable and could get the seller into trouble if the person in the seat they booked is identified on CCTV causing trouble, they look at the records and identify who purchased the ticket....... Nothing to do with me you might say but then explain how a ticket you purchased ended up in the hands of say a Chelsea supporter... Not sure what to do with my spare

So duno how it works tbh , on ticket biz it states the face value and the asking price .

If someone has more money than sense and is willing to pay 4 times the ticket price then more fool them. A fact of life I know but that doesn't say it's right.

if the club can set prices at 25% higher than the normal rate then how can they expect 3rd parties to play ball
