With one of our problems being our creativity/penetration from wide areas, I wonder whether Ginnelly might be pushing for a start in the next month or so rather than any of this talk about loans coming to fruition. Apparently always stands out for reserves and youth teams, looks spritely enough from his first team outings and Mellon has enough faith in him to have thrown him on against Plymouth. He evidently has the talent, and the fearlessness and naivity that comes from being a younger player might be useful with some of the more experienced players perhaps playing within themselves.

His introduction sounded to galvanise us yesterday.
Would be interested to hear from those that went. Could he be in line for a start against Cheltenham?

Must be close to starting. Vincent and Caton haven't impressed so why not give him a go.

When he came on, we did look more of a threat down the right and his corners, except for one of them, seemed to create problems in their box.

He looked young, enthusiastic and unafraid of anything or anyone when he came on. Give him a go as far as I am concerned.

A promising first 10 minutes gave way for a disappointing and ineffective last 15/20.
Would have to say the Vincent does nothing for me though. That position is certainly there for the taking

I'd hope we'd give other squad members an opportunity to improve things before resorting to loans again (unless a particularly good opportunity arose). Not only Ginnelly but Caton (who's hardly had a chance), Wildig, Robinson, McAllister and, erm, Lawrence deserve some meaningful time on the pitch if we're looking to make changes - as I think we should be.

Not sure why Clark ever got dropped really, was very impressed with him at the start of the season, looked very bright both on the wing and in behind the striker/s. Would like to see Robinson given a go, he and Lawrence both have that creativity we've been lacking away from home, certainly haven't seen anything from Vincent to make me think he deserves a starting place, don't think I've seen him run forward or take a full back on yet, I thought that was the point of wingers?!
Certainly no need for loans in that area when we have Robbo, Lawrence, Wildig, Ginnelly, Caton on the bench all of whom can or have played on the wing.

I saw the lad in pre-season training, looked one of the best players and I thought he was a trialist not a youngster.
Reminds me of Raheem Sterling (Obviously not saying he is as good, just the way he runs and dribbles etc).
Hopefully see him get more first team games soon.

Good grief ! He's a promising talent alright but to value him currently at 500k after one brief cameo in a 1st team game is a bit crazy. We've had a couple of decent youth team wingers who rapidly disappeared off the face of the earth eg Gwilliams. One step at a time eh

That report reminds me of a Shrewsbury match report in the football league paper , when you wandered if they were even at the game
