Bobby I don't get your complaint. Can I ask were you aware of the Loyalty points system that's been around for almost 6 years and is regularly used and discussed? it should include last seasons loyalty points that's my complaint . The fans that were there when the club was doing s**t would be rewarded then Exactly!!!

Good you are sorted, but if your lads have only been to a few games and don't meet the thresholds then why should they get a ticket outside of general sale? Well done getting them there own Supporters Number through. So many people don't and that where people will have issues now. Again the rules of the loyalty points not accruing after the end of the season, and being reset has been around for ages. Whilst I am sorted - what loyalty are the club showing to my kids who have fewer points than an arbitrarily set threshold? None. They have loyalty points - but do not get preference over anybody who has never stepped foot inside the Greenhous? That is not fair and reasonable and is why they should get tickets before they go on general sale. Hardly seems fair and reasonable to me

When the season is this young it should be the case IMO . Got enough loyalty points with my ticket stubs I have dug out anyway , problem over If you've been to every home game but not got enough points is that because other people were buying your tickets for you? Every home game will only get you eight points by the time they go on sale to none STH, which puts you last in the queue.

I'll put it another way . As far as I'm aware a home game is 1 loyalty point .if you've been to six home games this season and got your loyalty points , your not eligible until general sale . Fair ?

I've just been down to the ticket office . I have been to every game at home plus wimbledon leicester Preston Northampton and some others but because I didn't buy through stfc I cannot get a ticket until general sale . Tomorrow I have work in the morning but if I will be done by 10:30 which I hope to I will be travveling ! So I can't buy a ticket from stfc , feel abit hard done by ,
How did you buy your tickets for the home games if not through the club and why not?
The loyalty points scheme has been around for years and served a purpose on numerous occasions.
For the record, I expect there to be ample opportunity for people to buy on general sale, especially at those prices. I attend regularly with my Dad and friends. Other friends and family members come to the occasional game when they are in Shrewsbury and I would normally purchase their tickets when I buy mine. This is the kind of game they would consider making a special trip for but on this occasion I won't be able to get their ticket for them. As a result it would be unlikely we could sit together and for this reason (along with the price and sky coverage) they probably won't want to come. For them it is probably more about the social side of things and less about the football. If you ask me, the price and sales structure is the best way they could make sure that loyal Shrewsbury fans can get a ticket. The club has done well.

That's something I might send on to the SP to see what response they get to the club. Me being thick but I understand your point now and its a bloody good one!

I actually misunderstood this, I thought it meant 1-7 loyalty points. this does seem a bit unfair.

Is there anything stopping fans buying flexi tickets from now until the Chelsea tickets go on sale in order to push themselves up the queue?

Is there anything stopping fans buying flexi tickets from now until the Chelsea tickets go on sale in order to push themselves up the queue? How could they stop it? It looks like even some of those who have attended a lot of Home games this season will have to buy one to push themselves up the order.

I am delighted that they are using loyalty points but have no idea how they chosen those thresholds?
Someone with 5 homes games does not get priority over general sale, eh?
I assume the loyalty points people are only entitled to one ticket each too?
Not many can have 18 already can they? Or does that include hundreds of super blues members?
Why is 7 the break off - surely someone with 4 points this season has been to four home games?
Why not...
October 13th – on sale to fans with 15 or more loyalty points October 14th – on sale to fans with 10 - 15 or more loyalty points October 15th – on sale to fans with 5-10 or more loyalty points October 16th – on sale to fans with 1-5 or more loyalty points October 17th – General Sale

I think L.S.F has hit the nail on the head. Those who have been to 3/4 games are going to either need to go to the next couple of games too (or stump up the cash for a flexi) to guarantee a ticket. Neat.

UPDATE - QUestion about the issue for fans with 1-6 points is now being taken forward by the SP to attempt to get a formal responce (or change) - Will update as we find out more (might be next week though.
Dave It would have to be one ticket per supporters number in my view until general sale, again anything else is utterly unfair.
Superblues members have always had same footing as ST in the last few years the way its worked, I see nothing different this time.
Few little issues to Iron out for sure.....

Happy to pay the higher prices due to the last 2 rounds being lower. If the club had done normal match day prices vs Blackpool and Norwich, and then increased them I would've boycotted on principle.

In all fairness I think the club have done the right thing here with regards to the loyalty points system and it will serve as a lesson to many, including me, to always declare your number in future when buying tickets.
And it also works as a good incentive for people to accrue points between now and then to increase their chances of getting them for the Chelsea game.
I cant agree with the pricing structure though.
I resent paying more to see my team at home purely because of who we`re playing against.
Perhaps the club could consider taking a fiver off the price for the following home game in the hope of keeping hold of those floating fans.

I have just text my mate a non – STH who has watched Town home and away for 40 years (like me). Unfortunate circumstances means he can’t make many games these days.

If the incentive is then to buy a flexi ticket, only real fans will want to do that.
I am starting to consider this an act of astute marketing!

I love that they are using the loyalty scheme for its intended purpose and by and large it will work.
