First of all well done the club for deciding on a rebrand. Personally not everyone can get to SP meetings during the week. Now I dont particularly like the design of the new badge and I say design because all four are virtually the same. There were some great designs done by various fans from various backgrounds which were indeed more attractive than four proposed we are voting for. Why the rush for a vote now. Why not launch a design competition and allow all fans to enter designs up until Christmas time then make it public over several weeks which ones can be voted on or not. Let us design, let us choose, let us take our time on this and get it right. There are many not too happy with the choices.

I agree with you.
7 depressing years suffering that comedy lion, now there's hope in sight why rush it.
This needs to be nailed properly. It seems like the absolute bare minimum has been served up to me.
I understand it's still progress, but why not take the time to get it right at the first time of asking?

I appreciate people who attend SP but heck we can't all attend those meetings during weeknights for whatever reasons. We need options that every fan can put forward what they would like launch competition get it out to all fans of all ages not just those that can attend SP.
Its a vital part of our identity, whats the rush is it May already? We need to take our time on this in detail all of us. Lets not rush it lets get it right.

Is it not possible for them to have some sort of online meeting? On this wesite or on facebook or something? I havent been into Shrewsbury for yonks apart from for games and some fans live in different parts of the world. It would mean people would need internet access but doesn't nearly everyone have this these days?

Personally don't get why people are unhappy with the badges on offer?
Some people are never happy.

Personally don't get why people are unhappy with the badges on offer? Some people are never happy. There are quite a lot of people questionig the lack of choice. The good thing about the campain is that it's about the fans views being heard and now that seems to have been watered down by this SP with just a few people getting to decide what the majority of fan can choose from.

I am prepared to go with one of 4 badges on offer, however I see it as a stepping stone to a vastly improved shield badge with all supporters having a say or design. the next rebrand following 2015/2016, is probably 3 years away, so lets get designing/ suggesting now.
at present I am far more worried where town will be in the league in early November. I suspect Melon and Jacko share my concerns, looking at our next 6 league games.
