To be honest I didn't even realise it had changed (but then folk know that I'm a Kickers fan rather than VfB). But just come across this on Facebook as someone was wondering why VfB Stuttgart fans were making reference to Ajax at a home game at the weekend... Seems VfB fans have been protesting about the change in their badge and have now managed to get the club to revert back to the old one... Pro altes VfB Wappen
I mean you can hardly see the difference but just goes to show how important these things are to supporters. And the reference to Ajax was because their supporters are also up in arms about their club changing the badge and they are campaigning to get the old one back. Just goes to show once again that we're not alone on this, these things do matter. Just thought it would be of interest to one or two...

Ive noticed over the last year there's more and more fans across Europe who are venting their anger towards 'modern football' and are trying to celebrate their club's history and identity. Football has become so commercialised and then you see rich foreign owners treating clubs as their toy's, corruption at FIFA/UEFA, well its no wonder people have had enough.
There are elements of it in this country but nowhere near enough and there's too many people who will accept anything as long as they get success on the pitch
