We did them a big favour. Thrashing them in the cup, meant they were free to concentrate on the league.

Cannot tell you guys how gutted I am for us throwing the match against you guys....
We are such a bad side though lads you're right. It is so gutting to be matching sides like arsenal than competing with luton...so so sad.

Great possession and quantity of shots in your game today, for Arsenal. Obviously credit where its due for obtaining a point, they might be few and far between.

Read all of that off the BBC today did you?
All the pundits said we were very good value for the point, with all 3 FiveLive pundits suggesting we should have won the game 'comfortably'.
Holding our own at home to everton, whilst outplaying arsenal at home and Chelsea at Stamford bridge for 60 minutes...I'm not concerned.
2 points so far from everton, Chelsea and arsenal when we were expected to get 0....very, very good start....confident of a top 12 finish, and so are many pundits.

Sometimes you see that some people need to get out more and live life in the real world. Still if posting rhubarb on here makes their day go round then that's fine. Keep the rhubarb coming

Shame you only had Ulloa to bring in. He's got fewer football league games under his belt than Jordan Clark don't you know.
What's the best Leicester forum to post my satisfaction at us winning yesterday on, anybody?

So what your saying is that any injuries to Leicester's first 11 and their back up players aren't good enough to compete against a league 2 side, and had to throw the game mid week? Very worrying for Leicester that to have such a week squad? How come they are so short of players? Personally think if Salop played a side three leagues below us we have such a strong squad now we could play a different starting 11 and still win the game.

If our win in the cup on Tuesday really meant so little to you why do you keep coming back, rather strange obsession.

Noticed that Martin Tyler on the Sky commentary slipped in a few mentions of Shrewsbury.
He correctly pointed out that Manchester Utd's defeat in midweek overshadowed what was a "great" win for a League Two side over Leicester.
Although he did say "a very good League Two side", in his opinion.
Good to see that someone noticed, for Shrewsbury fans.

Not surprised big Nigel dropped the nails that we ran rings round. He sounded well p**sed off in his interview after the game. We had a few drinks and a bit of banter with some Luton fans in the evening after our match, (which we all thoroughly enjoyed), because that's what football is all about in my very humble 4th division opinion, not about who can act like Berty Big Bollox.
But if you enjoy that sort of thing, off you jolly well go, but it isn't for me.

Funnily enough, you are as chuffed with your point against a side who are in a different league, as we are with beating you on Tuesday. Every little side has its day against the bigger clubs. You got one point, we get to play in the next round of the Cup,simples.

You weren't playing our 'back-up' players....you were playing their 'back-up'.
James and drinkwater are our first choice center mids, cambiasso, king and Hammond are our back-up center mids.....cain and kennedy are their back-up and have never made a league appearance.....
Ulloa is currently our main striker...his back up is Vardy....and his back up is Wood.
Albrighton and schlupp are our wide players.....knockaert and mahrez are their 'back up'.
morgan and moore are our center halves....upson and wasilewski are their 'back up'.
Pearson's son is 5th choice right back....
So basically you played 3 first teamers....4 'back-up' players....and 4 'back-up' to our 'back-up' players.....
Anyway...we basically changed the whole 11 and outplayed arsenal...but enjoy such a victory against the 'mighty Leicester'.

Pearson was glad we picked up no injuries...that was the priority from the match...the result was secondary.
He said after the Chelsea game that he wanted to win the match, but would make many changes, which he did, and ultimately, as expected, we lost.
The difference is....our lads can compete with the biggest sides in the country, whilst yours cannot.

lcfcgrewks - you lost to a Division 2 side who played you off the park. Get over it - or report your club to the authorities for throwing the game. You clearly have the inside track on how that happened.
